Since I don't drive my Cummins but 3-4 times a month (company car to drive), I can't say I'd get a Diesel now. HOWEVER, yes it tows much better, I just got 24 MPG on a trip to Dumont dunes, but if you're not going to keep it long, I'd get a gasser.....
