Widen the extremely close sites, add additional Pull thru sites, add additional sewage lines, and ensure most of the sites will be re-leveled. Will start after this years season in the fall. the owners are extremely friendly as well as the staff. He offered to assist me when we leave to hitch up my trailer by providing me wood boards to put under my front tires so the truck will be level with the trailer. If the new owner does what told me, will be a great improvement and I will return.Re: Wytheville Virginia KOAJim Shoe: I have only stayed at KOA's and never had a problem. I had a tough time finding a place to stay due to the holiday weekend and my error for not reserving sooner. I will look at other parks next time. Thanks,Re: EQ hitch grease - what and where?Ditto. Grease all and wipe off when done.Re: Cruise controlI have a 2012 Ram Laramie and use cruise all the time in T/H mode. I have been up mountain roads and the most my tranny has heated up was 157 degrees (according to my onboard display). Hemi Power is awesome but then again I am a little biased. I say use cruise. I have never had a problem. As long as you are in tow/haul mode, there will be no problems due to shifting when it needs to shift. JimRe: Campfires: Love them or hate them?Love them. Main reason we camp is to sit by a fire at night. Always burning until 2-4am just relaxing and also drinking our beverage of choice. We have never been approached by another camper telling us it was bothering them. Fires are soothing to the soul and my DW and I have great bonding time just chilling out.Wytheville Virginia KOAI made reservations late for Memorial day weekend and now understand why the only KOA, in the entire state Virginia, had open sites. This is my 7th trip in our Trailer am disappointed with this location, as far as site size. Extremely close together. I called to verify they have fire rings on the sites and they do. Issue is, they are portable type and the size of a frying pan. I have seen no level sites on my walk around and in order to unhitch my trailer, I had to buy put 8 inches of wood under both of my front truck tires to get it level enough just to unhitch. Associates are friendly. They have fun activities for the kids. Maybe others have had better luck here. I will perservere and make this an awesome 4 day trip. After all, Camping is a chance to get away and relax.Re: Towing MirrorsI have a 2012 RAM 1500 and also tried to find aftermarket tow mirrors. Until they come out w/ some, will have to go with the strap on mirrors.
