We are completing a three year project doing water surveys and plotting GPS coordinates for all waters on the refuge. We also pick up road trash and do minor road maintenance. We just finished six weeks at Buenos Aires NWR. Check out volunteer.gov

Check out the Horse Tank area off King Valley Rd. We are currently volunteering at KOFA. This is our third year. What a great place. Over 650,000 acres.

Re: First-come, first served campsites along Oregon Coast
You might check out the Siltcoos area south of Florence. Waxmyrtle and the Lagoon forest campgrounds. You can hear Atv's at the campgrounds. There is hiking to the beach area and kayaking on the river.

It is an interesting place. Last year there was a 'For Sale' sign located fairly near to the shrine (?). We have not been out there this year yet.

Thank you! The 'thank you's' are what keeps us going. Especially on the clean bathrooms. It is so....nice to be noticed. Currently located below Palm Canyon at KOFA.
