I think I will take the box out and see what is behind it and see if there is any obstruction in the lines coming to it, if they are even hooked up. I looked at one similar (without the hot/cold knobs) at a local dealership this week, and it looks like there is a check valve on the back end so maybe it is stuck or something. Anyway, thanks for the replies and I will update if I figure anything out.Spray Port has no waterI have a 2007 Kodiak 24RBSL, and it has a Hot & Cold Spray Port on the back, with a quick-connect coiled hose. I can't get any water to come out of it. One would think there is a cutoff somewhere but I cannot find it. Anyone with a Kodiak have experience with this? I have already checked that the valve is not seized on the quick-connect, and have tried both pump from fresh tank and city water hookup and no luck so far. I checked water lines from the furnace cubby under the sink to under the slide, and also inside the water heater/pump recess under the dinette seat, and don't see a cutoff valve anywhere. The hatch where the connection is has a sticker with instructions for draining and it indicates there should be a cutoff somewhere inside, but where??? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. CarlRe: When and where to find Rhododendrons+10 for Roan Mountain. Stay at Roan Mountain State Park, great campground and also have cabins for rent, pool for kids, river running through it, etc. Drive up to Carver's Gap (just a few beautiful curvy miles up the mountain), hike the AT up through dark spruce forests to the open balds about 6000' elevation. From the parking lot at Carver's gap the hike up the trail is only a mile or so to the first bald, I considerate it a moderate hike for this 68 year old. Lots of wild rhododendron and flame azalea and views of layered mountains in the distance. To the right of Carver's gap, take the drive to the top for the rhododendron gardens, just awesome. Last time I was there I think the charge for the gardens was only like $3 or so. Mid-June peak usually. Back down in the small town of Roan Mountain, there are a couple good BBQ restaurants and a drive in with excellent country breakfast and lunches, ice cream etc. Bob's Dairyland I think it is.Re: Ashville and an RVI-26 / I-40 / I-240 intersection requires some alertness because of lane changes, especially if traffic is heavy and you are unfamiliar with it.Re: Verizion new Data Rates -And vets discountI have the discount through my employer, and it is on the regular service. Lots of good-sized wooded lakefront sites but only W/E. About 25-30 miles from Anderson, maybe less.Re: Cover for trailerWe use a 20' x 30' silver tarp only during the winter. Using 1" ratchet straps on all the grommets keeps it from flapping in the wind and it protects the trailer from tree sap, falling small limbs, etc. Obviously it would help prevent leaks as well, and not totally covering the sides, there is plenty of air circulation to prevent condensation problems. It's easy to loosen one strap if you need to get into the trailer. I got the tarp and straps from Harbor Freight and total cost was less than $80, much more economical than a cover if cost is a consideration. I feel that it works just as well and the tarp held up very well, can't even tell it has been used.Re: newbie questionsTo elaborate on the water pump - if you are hooked up to outside water source, you do not need the pump turned on. It is only used if you are using from the fresh water tank, and in that case you can leave the switch turned on while you are camping, as it will only operate when the faucet is turned on. When you are finished camping, turn it off. As for the tires, at that age they would be getting borderline condition in my opinion, even if you cannot see obvious age cracks or dry rot. Especially if they have been on the bare ground for an extended period of time. I just replaced mine this year ('06 and '07 manufacture) as I have seen what happens to your trailer when you have a blowout, not only that but I certainly think the risk of having a blowout on the highway is not worth taking the chance. Peace of mind and safety of my family is worth more than a few hundred dollars to me.Re: Campground search upper East TN southeast VirginiaAlso, Warrior's Path State Park near Kingsport, TN would be a good choice for the area. http://www.stateparks.com/warriors_path.htmlRe: Campground search upper East TN southeast VirginiaRiverpark Campground near Erwin and Jonesborough TN is pretty nice.
