We just got to see it for the first time this past weekend and I couldn't believe how cozy and homey they have made it! I told her we had already seen many trailers like theirs at rv shows, so I already knew what it looked like. Well was I ever wrong! I have never seen such a cozy, warm, inviting and homey travel home!!! I was ready to move in!! She had pictures on the walls, artificial plants on the counters, a hall runner on the floor, a cute foot stool, and lots of lights about all the windows and lamps. It looked like a home on wheels instead of just a camper. She has inspired me to make our camper more homey!! My husband complains because everything in our camper is brown; the walls, the floor, the cabinets, the counters, and the fabric on the sofa. I threw a few red pillows on the sofa and it really brightened things up already! My question to all of you is; is your travel trailer a home on wheels or just a camper? Have you made your camper homey and cozy and if so, what have you done to make it a home? We don't live in our travel trailer, just use it on weekends, long weekends and for a week long vacation once a year, but I would still love to make our camper more homey! I would love to hear about what you all have done to make your camper a home on wheels.planning trip to floridaWe are planning a trip to Florida for Christmas this year and would love to hear any suggestions ya'll might have on places to stay, things to see, places to go (and not go), must see's etc. We are traveling in a 36ft TT for 2 weeks. 6 people, 2 dogs (yes it IS going to be a Christmas vacation to remember!) We are leaving from Raleigh NC and hope to spend the first night in Savannah Ga. We will spend Christmas Day in West Palm Beach with my sister and then hope to head to the Keys before making our way back home. Ya'll helped us plan an very memorable and priceless trip Out West a few years ago and I know ya'll will have some good suggestions for this trip too! We need some ideas on where to stay- especially in the Keys and things to see along the way. We plan to visit Miami beach, south beach and Key West for sure. Thank you in advance and looking forward to your suggestions!Re: job to do from the roadI'm a home childcare provider now- would LOVE to take the children with me on the road and still be able to give them back at night! I actually went to school to be a travel agent-over 25 years ago! so that is a possibility, I would just need to take some classes to update my skills as im sure EVERYTHING has changed since then!! Etsy is also a good possiblity, I am very crafty, and could work while traveling. All great ideas! THANK YOU!! We are planning ahead, this isn't something we will do for several more years, so Ï've got some time to figure this out.job to do from the roadDh and I are trying to form a plan so we can full time on day in the not too distant future. He will be able to work as we travel, probably staying a week or 2 one place before we would move on. Which leaves me with the problem-what job can I do from the road??? I know there has to be something out there, I just don't know how to go about finding something. Since we will be moving so often, and probably wont know exactly where we will be in advance, that eliminates most possible workcamping jobs, camp host, etc. I'm guessing something computer related would be the best option since that is something I could do from anywhere. Do any of you fulltimers (or anyone else!) have any ideas on where I can start looking?
