MikeFresno and I had a fun weekend camping next to each other at Millerton Lake in California. Very interesting! Mike I built that myself. It was made from necessity. Bad mojo is heard about the hitch on the bumper, and I did not want to add more length to the tow vehicle, so I made this one. I also did not want to void the frame warranty. It is not bolted through or welded to the frame at all. There are two 3/8" plates, one at the top and the bottom, with four 1/2" grade 8 bolts per side. It sandwiches the TT frame. The "receiver" frame itself is made from 3"x3"x3/16" tubing. My friends call it my motorcycle rack. It works great. I even had an engineer friend stamp and seal my drawing before I made it. I can see the bikes in the mirror and there is no bouncing at all. The bike rack itself is a Hollywood Racks 4 bike hitch rack. Here is another picture of it. John Build one for me! :) Great idea and great job.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just getting it ready for camping next weekend. It does not fit in the driveway without going over the sidewalk so can only keep it there until the cops come and tell us to move it. Seems like it can only sit there for about 2-3 days before someone complains. That set up looks quite similar to my Jayco Jay Flight G2 32BHDS ... especially the outside kitchen which I absolutely love. I had mine in a storage area because I was limited for space as well at my house until I did some fencing reconfiguration. Now I'm able to fit it on the side of my house which is like extending the size of my house. It's a nice little getaway or office for when I need to do some private or quiet work. See this post: No more storage fees!Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or are you really not in a site but in a parking lot? This location is simply the parking area, leaves a lot to be desired but it is really close to the boat ramp. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. I've been to nicely wooded areas as well and prefer that kind of environment but this place is absolutely fun. Something like this more your style? This is my first post, been lurking and learning a lot. Here are a couple photos of our second outing with our new TT, Jayco 26RLS. We stayed at Guntersville State Park in Al this last weekend, it is a very nice park. Nice... I love my Jayco and just returned from a 1 week trip as well. Ready to get back out there as soon as I can.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hey Moderator ... sorry about that, still a newbie here. I've developed and managed many discussion forums in the past. Not familiar with the one you are using but there are generally add-ons or customization that can be implemented that allows for image uploading which then allows administrators to force maximum viewing sizes and files sizes. The thing that strikes me as odd is that even though the size of the image is forced within 640 x 480 does not change the load time of the page at all so I have to ask, are you simply requesting this be done for aesthetics? Just curious. Next time I post a photo I'll ensure I am very mindful of the forum rules. Cheers. PS. May I suggest posting the image size rules here: http://www.trailerlife.com/cforum/Index.cfm/fuseaction/register/sup/1.cfmRe: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!New photo of my rig with the family while leaving Millerton Lake today.
