Simply put... you never know when you will meet one of God's angels. I know throughout my own life, that God has sent an angel to take care of me or show me His road to take!! I never question God's direction in my life. Richard, you are an angel!! I mean that sincerely!! You have a God-like quality about you. I don't have to meet you in person to know this. I would love to attend the Old Fella Rally , but unfortunately, it would be too far to drive. I will be thinking of all of you and just give Old Fella a big hug & kiss from us!! Gee, you all sound so surprised!!!! :) I NEVER EVER doubted that Old Fella would be up & around again... I believe in the power of prayer, and I know that all of the love from Richard & Sue...plus the thoughts and prayers of all of us, would heal Old Fella!! He is such a beautiful, happy, loving dog... he's such a joy!! He's also HIGHLY intelligent... he sure stole the heart & soul of his new owners!! I will DEFINITELY be here at 9:00 p.m. We are on "daylight savings time"... Does anyone know if that would be at the "right time?" I really believe that Old Fella is going to be up & around very soon. He's getting the best of care!! I have read your entire story regarding Old Fella... I tried to read some of the Highway's article to my DH last night, but I couldn't read it all because I was "balling my eyes out!!" This is the most touching story I have ever read!! As for Old Fella, we are all praying that he will again recover and be better than new. I am sure it is tearing your heart out.... Just know that he now has all the love and support of a great family and a wonderful and caring Vet. Hey, we should all be so lucky!!
