Goodland, Kansas has a KOA (1st exit to Goodland going West). Burlington has County Fairgrounds (depending on fair dates). Genoa RV campground is closed. Limon has a descent KOA. Forgot to mention, Stratton, Co (exit 419) has a decent little campground just off I-70.Re: 2016 Ram 3500 auxiliary fuel tank plumbing??I had my 91 gallon tank installed in my 2016 RAM. It's gravity fed into the filler tube. I've had no over flow so far. I had some overflow problems in my old 2008 F-350.Website for selling RV parts?Ok, I've been trying to sell a 5th wheel hitch and tailgate on Craigslist. I've sold things on CL before with positive results. Now it seems like the only people responding are the scammers. I've even received a check for 1000.00 dollars more than I was asking for the hitch to cover the shipping. I've about had it with CL. Going to pull my adds. Are there any good websites that you can advertise to buy-sell or trade in RV supplies that any of you experienced? ThanksRe: Which Campground Will You Never Go Back ToInjun Joes in Hannibal, Mo. Ther's some large billboard signs advertising them along side the highways as a good Sam park. We pulled in and looked around. The park manager showed us where we could park for the night. The sites were not level, not mowed and just an absolute dump. We decided not to stay and moved on. It turned out they were no longer a Good Sam park. I guess it was a pretty nice park under the previous owner. This park is mostly full time residents with some pretty junky rigs.Re: Weber Q200 regulator questionI replaced a regulator because it wasn't putting out enough propane. The next regulator started doing the same thing. I was thinking of throwing the grill in the trash. Got to talking with a propane dealer and he suggested that I replace the hose. Said there was a small BB inside the connector that may stick sometimes. He said it doesn't happen often, but he's seen it on a few. Well, I replaced the hose and it works just fine now. It turns out it wasn't the regulator at all.Replace decals with paint?I'm thinking about removing all the decals because they look like ****. Thought I would tape around where the old decals were and just use spray paint in a can like krylon or rust oleum. Followed up by clear coating. I've watched some videos on you tube and I think it would look better than the current decals. Have any of you ever done this? If so, were you satisfied with the results. Any pros or cons to doing this? ThanksRe: Anyone have a car topper boat or kayak when towing a 5er?I carry a 10' anglers kayak on the roof of my crew cab. I've got roof racks on the roof. It works very well.Re: Dexter 8k axles, nev-r-lube bearingsI've got the dexter 8k axles. So far I haven't detected any problems. I've got tpms on all the trailer tires, and it shows tire temp as well as pressure. I've been thinking I may install disc brakes in the next year or two, if I think I'm going to keep the rig around for awhile. If I do that, then problem solved. I sure liked the old bearings better. At least if they failed, it was probably my own fault, even though I never has a failure. It made access for brake inspection/adjustment much easier.Dexter 8k axles, nev-r-lube bearingsI went out today to check brakes and bearings. After removing dust cap to nev-r-lube bearings, I thought I would ask the guys that have performed this maintenance before. Would I be better off just replacing the bearings and hub with bearings that I can visually inspect and service myself? What kind of life can a person expect to get out of the nev-r-lube bearings? After looking at e-trailer, I notice they also have oil-bath. Is there any advantages to those? What kind of job am I looking into by tearing into the nev-r-lube, just so I can inspect the brakes. I've done plenty of plain ol' bearings, but I've not ever done these. I've probably towed this trailer 7k miles and the previous owner even less.:hRe: New 5th wheel & now new Tow VehicleCongratulations on your new rig! I went with a B & W hitch when I got a new truck last year. It's a 25k rated hitch. Kind of expensive, but I'm not worried at all about the trailer. I had a Reese hitch, 18k on my last truck. No problems with it either. It got the job done.
