not sure what your plans look like, but if the fort pickens campground is flooded then most of the other parks in pensacola will be flooded as well. the gulf south just got hit with brutal storms. for beach camping on the gulf I always recommend Bayou Davis Campground near gulf port, MS. Incredible free campsites in this state park as well as hiking and ATV trails. Only about a 20 minute drive from Chattanooga and about 5 minutes from scenic hikes on Suck Creek. This address on google maps should take you to the campground I stayed at: 219 Game Reserve Road Chattanooga, TN 37405. Gravel road leading into the site, but I was fine with my jeep wrangler and 900lb travel trailer. a couple bigger rigs and buses were up there as well.1.3KViews0likes2Comments
