What is the GVWR? What is the actual operating weight? What is the length? Do you tow? What is your normal driving speed? Do you use 87 octane(min) fuel? Have you modified the ECU/engine/transmission/exhaust/driveline in any way? Just a few questions before Ford gets sent to the gallows. (again) Chum lee Are you feeling ok? Sure. Never better. Clearly, you are approaching this issue from the grease pit side of things. (Where I have spent many hours as well) I'm approaching it from the engineering side of things where I have also spent many hours. Cheers! Go ahead, . . . . repair the damage. My approach is to, . . . . solve the problem first. Then, . . . . fix the damage. If you just fix the damage without solving the problem, IMO, you're just kicking the can down the road. (and putting a few $$$$ in your pocket) Chum lee Huh? Dude needs a repair and is asking if the price is ok….no angle to take. Neither he nor I nor you are going to re-engineer his exhaust manifolds. This is EXACTLY the response I would expect from you. Expect no further reply. Chum lee next time i ask a question you two need not replyManifold ReplacementsWE have been RVing for over 40yrs. Currently on Class A number 4 Number three had the same problem but less mileage 32,000. Number four has 63,000 miles four cracked bolts and two cracked manifolds. From what I understand this is a fairly common problem, because of excessive heat. That being said, labor, two new sets of bolts and two new manifolds around 4,300 hundred. Ford V10 F-53 engine. just wondering of other experiences and cost quotes thx and stay safe.Re: Gen?After a long trip ours wouldn't start. Checked the battery cables to generator and one connecter was cracked, that was the problemRe: Dish TV Dutch_12078 wrote: RodLyle wrote: Purchased Dish bundle for inside TV no problems really enjoy. Looked at others but always told, "yes they are cheaper but not as good of a ride"" So how do you know if others ride/handle just as well if not better? 40 years nothing but Michelin, will never buy another.
