Found: A new Freigtliner/Deisel repair shop
If you ever find yourself on the side of the road (as I did) needing a tow and/or repairs to your motorcoach, in the Des Moines Iowa area, ask for Mad J Towing and repair of Ankeny Iowa. Freightliner service centers are scarce in the Des Moines area, so it is very comforting to find a shop that has the towing capability, the freightliner and deisel expertise to get us up and running again. I plan on using Mad J for all my future servicing needs. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a better deisel and/or freightliner repair shop. Besides winterizing make sure you empty all holding tanks, water heater and ice maker lines. I would also get the anti-gel additive for your fuel tank and fuel lines. Also keep your fuel tank full and your LP tank as well. This should keep you in good running order.241Views0likes0CommentsRe: Clearcoat repair
The deterioration of the clearcoat on the end caps and awning rails is not unusual. It is a result of years of sun exposure and not enough waxing. We had a similar case of clearcoat breakdown, took MH to Forest City and had CDI repair the clear coat.
