I will keep y'all posted.Re: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchWife and I camped with a borrowed popup this summer and that convinced us that those are way too small for our family.Re: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchlbrjet, you don't think its too heavy? what about krobbe's numbers? not trying to pit one against the other, but this is confusing.Re: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchkrobbe, yah, I guess I was reaching on that one...Re: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchHey guys, how about this one? It has the unloaded vehicle weight at #5900. Is that too heavy for unloaded? http://www.forestriverinc.com/TravelTrailers/SuperLite/default.aspx?model=superlite&page=floorplandetails&floorplanid=4966&RVType=trailersRe: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchGuys, thanks for all the comments. this all definitely opens my eyes to the costs of buying one. its not just a hook it up and away we go thing. I think I will stay to the 6000 limit so I don't have to worry about pulling the load. Again, thanks!!Re: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchOk ok ok, the manual is out the window:) I will stick to the 6500 limit and start there. thanks again for everyone's inputRe: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchok, I looked in my owners manual (funny how you can find things in there) and it says my max trailer weight is 9800lbs and my max GCWR is 15300lbs. is this all another way of what y'all been saying or is this more than what you guys have been thinking?? Those seem like I can tow bigger numbers. Am I looking at it wrong? Agin, this is going off of a rear axle ratio of 3.55, which I'm not sure how to find to confirm.Re: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchWOWZA, those WD are expensive. allowing for back up and reducing sway, they're $300+!!Re: Need help with the numbers on the weights and suchGuys, Thank you all! you're each making it easier for my poor math brain to figure it out. Mike, Tucker is not entirely too far. I'll check their webpage out. I really don't know how much I'd load in the truck. not sure what we'd need.
