Payload capacity is 1170lbs. So it needs the be light enough for this vehicle. As for storage space I really want to be able to get it in my yard. That’s the motivation for a rear slide. It shrinks the footprint when stored but gives a lot more room when camping. I have about 22 feet to play with total length. The Outback is a little too long. Without the forward bunks it would probably be perfect. And I would prefer hard walled for durability and camping in bear country.Small rear slide travel trailerHi folks, I am overwhelmed with the number of travel trailer floor plans on Google so I thought I’d consult the experts ??. I am looking for a travel trailer with a hard walled rear slide out. It needs to be small to fit my needs in terms of towing and storage capacities. So, my question- What is the smallest travel trailer with a hard walled rear slide out that you are aware of? Thanks in advance, HipRe: Propane fire pit valhalla360 wrote: Just curious how long do they run on a 20lb tank? If you don't have a home grown supply, firewood at parks is crazy expensive. It's nothing to see $10 even $20 for a small bundle. The manufacturer says about 8 hrs (50,000 btu) on high and about 13 hrs (32,000 btu) on low. But that is probably in some sort of ideal lab setting.Propane fire pitHi folks, I recently bought a propane fire pit (Bond model 67836). It comes set up for a standard 20lb propane tank. Have folks have used these types of fire pits with the 1lb “disposable” tanks? I realize I will need to get an adapter to use them and that they won’t last very long. But I am just wondering if they can be safely used with an outdoor fire pit like this and if people have done so without issues like freezing up…or explosions ??. I really just want to have the ability to use one in case the big tank runs out and I want to keep the fire going for a little longer. Thanks in advance for any input people might have. Hip P.S. Moderators - I hope I selected the right forum for this question. Feel free to move it if it fits better somewhere else.
