Sorry pic isn't too clear, but it is the best of the dozen I took..... I haven't talked to dealer yet, but here's hoping they are going to fix... I actually think FIXING the crack may be preferrable to replacing the entire front nose cone.... I think the potential for leaking is less that way so I am going to see what they come up with. You guys may want to get up on ladder and check yours as well (you can't see it from ground level). Sorry guys for the previous blank post :( SabreCanuck have you followed up on this with your dealer ? Also wondering has anyone else had this issue out there. Reason I am asking is I have noticed a very very small spiderweb cracking on the front edge of my nose cone at about eye height, should I be concerned ? Thanks all.Re: Keystone Bullet Premier SabreCanuck wrote: We bought our 27RBPR this spring and camped pretty much every weekend this year, mostly within 2-4 hours of home but a couple of road trips.. Re: Keystone Bullet PremierI got the Wifi equipment from C.Crane(www.ccrane.com) in the US and they estimate up to 3/4 of a mile, I can't verify that but I do know a few weeks back I was in a campground with Wifi and fellow campers all around me were struggling to get a decent signal on their laptops and I was streaming video no problem ! The satellite is VuQube(www.kingcontrols.com) which has a remote for easy sat. pointing and I rigged up an alum. angle on both sides of my maxair vent and cooresponding angle on sat. dish base that hook together on roof, its not secure enough for travelling so need to get out my fold out ladder to put it up each time but it goes up in minutes. The cabling for both I ran through the area where my electrical hookup cable stores and then was able to feed the cabling up through the wall using the existing tv cable plate hole in the wall as my pull through point and then made new cutouts and installed new wall plates for both so I now have 3 plates in a row on my wall, the orginal tv hookup plate, my sat. hookup plate and the Wifi hookup plate. It was a little tight working in the confined area to pull the cables but a little patience goes along way. I then have the wifi outlet cabled to a wifi repeater in the trailer so if I decided to sit outside with the laptop. I am connecting to the wifi repeater which in turn is connected to the antenna. Hope I am making sense here if not let me know and will try to explain better. I could also take some more detailed pics which would help clarify. I must admit I really do enjoy doing the mods and make the trailer our own. My worry is one day there will be nothing left to do and I will have to sit down and relax ! :)Re: Keystone Bullet PremierThe lid cut quite nicely on my tablesaw, I am a cabinetmaker by trade so it helps I have all the tools for these kind of mods. But as long as you have a sharp carbide toothed blade with at least 40 teeth you should be fine.Re: Keystone Bullet PremierThanks Barney for linking my pics for me.Re: Keystone Bullet Premier RainbowsEnd wrote: kainen wrote: does any see a problem with running the AC for pretty much 24/7 and should we leave it on Auto ? or high during the day and put it to low at night ? What temp should we set it at 20 degrees celius ? Thanks in advance for your help. That's a nice looking camper you have! We leave our AC on 24/7 when its summer time and we're camping. I assume the area you're going to be camping is dry. Just remember if it is humid (most often at night) then you need to keep the fan speed high and/or reduce temperature. If its to low of an air flow going across the coils that may cause them to freeze up. The air conditioners made today usually keep the inside about 20 degrees colder than the air is pulls in. So 100 degrees outside would expect at best to be about 80 degrees inside. Thanks Rainbow yours looks good as well, I get alot of comments in the campgrounds of what I nice looking unit it as I am sure you do and the rest of you as well. Enjoy your trip! Re: Keystone Bullet PremierThanks all for the AC tips. I have finally got around to taking my mods photos and have posted them to picasa. I have captioned them all so hopefully they make sense if not just ask. Alot of these mods were inspired by all of you and a special tip of the hat to Virtual Garage. I do have a few in there that I think I can call my own and of course feel free to be inspired by and duplicate at will. Here is the link. https://picasaweb.google.com/markrock65/BulletPremier?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCLSb5tut5O67nQE&feat=directlink Please let me know if I didn't do this correectly and can't access the photosRe: Keystone Bullet PremierHi all fellow Bullet Premier owners, hope you are all enjoying your units as much as me and the wife and our 2 German Shepherd sare enjoying ours. We are headed out this weekend for 2 weeks to Osoyoos, BC Canada which for those not familair with this area, it is a desrt climate where temps can climb above 40 degrees celius for days on end.I have a quick question, does any see a problem with running the AC for pretty much 24/7 and should we leave it on Auto ? or high during the day and put it to low at night ? What temp should we set it at 20 degrees celius ? Thanks in advance for your help.Re: Keystone Bullet Premierthanks jason so no worries about more sway with the hitch ball 6" farther away from the truck ?Re: Keystone Bullet PremierHi anyone else out there having a problem with lowering their pickup tail gate and it hitting the power tongue jack and therefore can't lower it all the way. In order for me to put my two German Shepherds in their kennel's in the back of the pickup I have to be unhitched. If my hitch shank even extended out another inch or so I am sure that would do it, it is so close to clearing the tongue jack. Can I drill another hole about 1" away and use that or is that too dangerous and compromising the safety of my equalizer hitch setup.A quick search on the Internet shows you can get 18" long shanks as aopposed to my 12" one I have now. But that seems excessive I don't need 6" extra and worried that will potentially be proned to sway more ? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you. I could take a pic too if that would help explain my situation.
