I see that Jeep Compass has a 9 speed transmission option this year. But I don’t see that this has made it towable. My 2022 Jeep Patriot Manual is getting quite a few miles on it. I would like a newer light weight toad. I may go with a Chevy Equinox.

My 2007 Wiinnebago Acess, resides in a 30’ x12’ “All Steel” carport....a few inches of front are out. But that seems work...wider would have been nice.

I was a property and casualty insurance agent for 30+ years...had only one claim on the under/uninsured coverage...me. It ended my career and nearly cost me my life. I collected well. So my advice don’t try to save a few bucks buy some decent limits.

Bass Pro permits dry camping. Nice restaurant inside, and the outlet store. The negative it requires traveling on city streets.

Re: How cold before winterizing?
If your coach has the water pump under the bed, make certain air can get to it. I had to learn the wrong way. I have to move the mattress when heating the motorhome in below freezing temps.
