Can someone explain this 'cable' to me? In my mind, a cable is thin and flexible. So how is it stiff/firm enough to close the flapper on the valve?Re: Black Tank ValveIt's closed. The dealership dropped the underbelly (so they've told me ... haven't picked it up yet), and didn't cut the underbelly.Black Tank ValveHey ... haven't been around in a long while ... but am wondering if ANYONE has EVER come across a broken/damaged black tank valve. Apparently, the plastic flap that closes the tank has been broken/chipped, if you will. So we've had the valve replaced. But just wondering if it something others have come across and maybe why? Thanks!Re: Replacing Stove & MicrowaveTHAT is awesome. It's what I want ... I don't know if hubby can do it or if I can hire someone to do it. But that is what I'm looking for .... pots n pan storage under a cooktop. Wish the manufacturers would take note!Re: Anyone replaced the vinyl flooring?Hmmm...this is really interesting. We want to remove the carpet in our bedroom and put down some sort of vinyl flooring. Dogs ... 2 of them ... yes we wash them ... but they're dogs and they smell like dogs. And the hair is woven into the carpet. The vacuum gets more hair up by friction and static than suction. Here's the problem ... we can NOT put 1/4 round down. At least not in front of the slide. SO ... if the self adhesive doesn't work ... how are we going to do this? I had really hoped the self stick would work for us.Re: Anyone buy or make a kitchen island for more counter space? All I can say is ... counter space WAS an issue for me. After years of being in a 23' Eclipse Attitude with nearly ZERO counter space ... counter/work space was ESSENTIAL. And you're right ... we went with a Voltage 3905. The island is large and provides TONS of work space. The elevated top portion of the island allows for additional work space also. It has been wonderful. FYI ... the double fridge and huge pantry allow us to shop without any worries. We have NEVER hesitated in selecting our groceries and houseware needs. And we have left Fred Meyer's with a $338 grocery/home stuff receipt recently.Re: more and biggerWe're in Deer Park, WA (north of Spokane) and would LOVE to hire you! I need drawers made and installed! I have several projects I just don't know where to go to get them done. NICE JOB ... they are gorgeous.Re: Stoves & OvensFYI ... I can hardly use 2 at a time. I have 2 stand alone, individual electric burners. If I need more 'stove top' cooking room ... I put out an electric burner and cook on the counter with that while other whatever is on the RV stovetop. The burners are so close together ... there isn't room to use them very well. Also ... I just posted a similar question about microwave swap out. : ? )Re: Replacing Stove & MicrowaveNo, we won't put the microwave in a cabinet. It is vented out the side currently and we would do same with replacement. It is over the stove beneath upper cabinets. Thanks though for the suggestion.Replacing Stove & MicrowaveWe want to ... OK ... I want to replace our existing stove/oven and microwave. What I'd like in their place is: Cooktop with a large drawer beneath and NO oven. I have a Nuwave oven and a large convection/toaster oven. Also, I'd like a convection/microwave ... regular home style and grade. Can this be done? Who would have the abilities to do this? Would we have to have the dealer do it or private cabinet maker and electrician? Just thoughts. I also want to get rid of our black counter tops in the kitchen. That's another post I guess ... :)
