The Armada is good as far as weights are concerned but the wheel base is a little short. The Pro Pride makes up for the short wheel base. Probably wouldn't need the PP3 if I was using some sort of longer truck but I wanted to tow with what I have.Re: First front tire blow out....Come on folks. Get real. The guy lightly tapped the brake pedal just enough to make the brake lights come on and shut down the cruise. All while keeping his cool and maintaining a good grip on the wheel. Why are so many acting like he did a two footed stand on the brakes. Good grief. Real life and YouTube videos ain't the same thing. :hRe: MAJOR short on a 2006 newmar essexI'd be looking for a bad ground connection somewhere with all those odd symptoms.Re: Gasser guys and gals ...why not a diesel ? pianotuna wrote: My Magnum 3000 caught on fire. It is due to poor design on their part. So I can't recommend them. They did replace it under warranty. I've heard of several people having that problem.Re: Does your slide interfere with any operation.....A few kitchen and bedroom drawers are inaccessible. Other than that, no problems.Re: 2002 silverado 1500 Brandon the Traveler wrote: When I read threads like this it makes me wonder how dad hauled 5 kids, mom, 3 packed coolers and a ton of other gear, out to Yellowstone then the Grand Canyon @ 1974. While you and your siblings were out playing around in the campground or sound asleep. :)Re: Another issue opnspaces wrote: Before you turn on the water heater open the access door and lift the lever on the pressure relief valve and make sure water comes out and keeps coming out if the pump is on or you are hooked up. If no water your winter bypass valves are in the wrong position. And if that's the case and you flipped those switches on there's a good chance you'll need a new water heater element. You can get them at Lowes or HD.Re: Add Awning To Slide? valhalla360 wrote: As it would be odd to add a traditional awning that is deployed independently over the top of a slide, I think most presumed that he meant a slide topper, which is essentially an awning that deploys automatically when the slide is opened. Not sure where you travel but I see traditional awnings deployed independently over the top of a slide all the time. Also see awnings installed on slides pretty regularly too. On TT', 5th wheels and motorhomes of all types. It's not unusual.Re: over filling Second Chance wrote: mobeewan wrote: Doesn't matter what type of fresh water tank fill system that you have for your trailer, water can still leak past the pump internal check valve, filling the tank. Not quite true. With our system, when all the valves are set for city water the pump is out of the system. Rob And the check valve is what keeps the pump out of the system. If it fails, and they often do, the pump is back in the system.
