Easy to hitch even on uneven spaces, very smooth pull. Just finished a 1300 mile trip over hilly and winding roads. Very nice. At 40+ pounds it is easy on my back so I can get my pickup bed backRe: 5th wheel vs. MH adviceWe have had a MH, TT and FW. By far the most convenient is the FW. Cost of operation is far less than the MH. When we had the MH all I did was pass out multiples of $300. The TT was nice but I di not like the way big rigs passing us pushed us around. The FW has more usable room than either the TT or MH. The MH required a toad if we intended to sightsee. The toad was more work to hitch up than the FW because of the brake buddy. I never let my wife move around in the MH because I felt it was too dangerous. Also people did incredibly dumb things in front of the MH. They still do dumb things around the FW but not quite as bad.Re: Front bunk trailersGrey Wolf makes a rear Queen with front bunks in a separate bunk room. Wildcat Maxx and Hemisphere make a front Queen with a rear bunk room. I think surveyor Pilot has a front queen rear bunk room alsoRe: Spokane RV Show - New and Used?Be sure to check out Spokane Valley RV. A new dealership near the stateline. Towing a Coleman 274BH. I'm using the Equalizer E-2 WD hitch. It is worth it's weight in gold. No sway, no push from big rigs. The biggest crosswinds I've encountered were 20 - 25 mph. No problems.Re: nitrogen in tiresNitrogen in tires is all fluff. ALL gases conform to the combined gas laws of physics which means they all react to changes in temperature and volume in the same manner. If you don't believe it, look it up. The lack of oxygen will slow corrosion on the wheels at the bead. The corrosion might be a problem after 10 or 12 years, but you will probably change tires before that and the beads will be cleaned when new tires are mounted.Re: On the road with a Keurig Coffee MakerWe use the single cup Keurig. No water tank to mess with. Coffee brews fast. Wored so well in the MH that we ditched the big Keurig in our house and only use the single cup.Re: ram1500 5.7hemiI found what bugy stated works well. I did not air up on our first run with our trailer and did not like the ride. I aired up to 40 psi for the next trip and was much happier. Last week I tried 42 psi on the rears and 38 on the fronts. I was very happy with that setup.
