It is definitely a project camper. The bunk needs rebuilt and the interior needs done. I have done quite a bit of work to the camper but it needs much more.Re: 1972 Amerigo Camper Rebuild 1971amerigo wrote: 1 ton Is your camper floor supported or is it sitting on jacks ? Sorry so late. It is supported. 2 4X4's one front one rear. Jacks are off right now. I have the problem on or off the truckRe: 1972 Amerigo Camper RebuildGot started back on mine finaly. I am still having a sag issue in the rear. I installed a metal square tubing floor frame and new wood, so I don't understand why it is doing this. If I place a bottle jack in the center of the rear skirt I can lift it and make it all level and square. Starting back on my 73 after a year off and was looking at the squareness of the camper as it seems that the roof is further forward than the floor and the walls are leaning toward the left. The floor has been replaced with a new steel framed floor so i know it is straight and level. Was this camper built off square or is mine that far out. I am wanting to start framing the inside back up but don't want to do it if nothing is going to line up. Any ideas on how or if i need to straighten it outRe: 1972 Amerigo Camper RebuildHoping to unload it this weekend and start the prep to paint it. And waiting on a table saw so I can start back on the interior rebuild.Re: The Bike Rack Rocks and Rollsget an anti-rattle hitch pin. it works like a big bolt and clamps the rack into the receiver.
