The shortest I can find is 5/8in. The fine wire staples similar to T50 all seem to crumple, and do not punch thru the fiberglass. I have seen the manufactures videos on Youtube, and they all appear to be some kind of foreign made staple gun from the 70's. It just amazes me I can't find something similar even online. I am still holding out hope someone knows the answer. The 1/4" or narrow crown staplers seem to pinch or cut through the rubber. I am trying to avoid that. What type of Medium Crown Staples and Staple Gun Is UsedI have replaced the rubber roofing on my RV. I am to the point of stapling the edges of the roofing to the RV siding (Fiberglass over wood luan). I cannot find a staple gun or staple that is the same as the OEM's version. It is a 1/2" wide staple, about 7/16" leg, and appears to be about 16ga. I can find no such animal at HomeDepot, Lowes, Grainger, Northern Tools, Nail Gun Depot, etc... I have tried the ARROW T50 types, but they don't work. Does anyone have any recommendations that will penetrate the roofing and siding?
