Repeat in the Spring. Works great for me, no cover needed.Re: Flexible floorplan for soon to be empty nestersMid BH floorplans appear to us empty nesters primarily due to the separate space -- perfect for a sewing room, a quiet reading room, a place to have a quiet phone conversation. One of the first things I noticed that if I wanted to have some quiet time while the TV was going, I either needed to sit outside under the awning to lay on the bed -- this led me to start thinking of the benefits of a bonus room.Re: Mini fridge in basementJust obtain a stretchy-strap of some sort to wrap around the unit to keep the fridge door closed while traveling, and your drinks will stay cold all day. We love our basement fridge set up, bye-bye cooler.Re: F250 6.2 gas Towing heavy with 3.73 rear ??No problems -- I tow 1000 lbs more than you with the same truck. Michigan to Florida, 65 MPH on any hill. I will lock out 6th gear if I am the 'sine wave' hills, but on calm days or with a tail wind, she will do 65 MPH in 6th on her own. I added extra leaf springs to make mine a F350 equivalent, and man what a difference, barely squats now.Re: What 5 R's are Aluminum FramedGulfstream Canyon Trail (which we have) and their identical Sedona are aluminum framed.Re: Winterizing...did I miss anything? stro1965 wrote: Emptied the tanks and water heater, ran anti-freeze through all faucets, shower, outdoor shower, toilet, etc... and into all P traps. Pulled battery, closed propane tanks, defrosted and cleaned the fridge/freezer and removed every speck of food. Cleaned her up and locked the doors. Will set sticky type mouse traps tomorrow in the "basement" (tried the drier sheet thing last year, I think the little fellas made mattresses out of 'em). Anything else? Sticky traps become not-sticky in the winter cold; the dog food crumbs I stuck onto them last winter went missing and got replaced with mouse turds!Re: Winterizing...did I miss anything? stro1965 wrote: Paul Clancy wrote: Winterize the black tank flusher. If water is in the backflow device it will freeze and crack then leak. I've not done this in the past...how do you do it?
