Good Sam couldn't find anybody to help us! 30 miles from Las Cruces. 7 hrs we sat there on the side of the road. Good Sam told me to call the state police and they have to help! Finally about 11 pm a truck showed up from Lordsberg ,Nm 125 miles away and he was a welder. He welded my hanger back and followed me in to las cruces where I dropped it off at the dealer. Cost me $125.00 for the repair and for him to follow me in. My wife took great notes and wrote a letter to the CEO of Camping World! Needless to say he was PISSED! He called us and gave us his personal email address and he picked up the tab and gave me another year of roadside service. Marcos was not a happy camper. He and his crew handled everything! We have had to call on him twice and he handled everything! BruceRe: get out of the heatWe spend a month in Colorado at lake Valecito Rv resort and have been for the past 5 yrs. it's between Bayfield and Durango. Huge lake and lots of trees. A great campground. I know one of our friends goes into Durango 3 times s week to swim and workout. Look them up! It's hot here in El Paso! 109 yesterday! BruceHow often should youHave your wheel bearings repacked. I do use my Rv quite a bit. Thanks, BruceRe: Superglide capture plate theft concerns?I almost found out the hard way that I had a capture plate. I just bought a new F 350 and for 5 years I had the super glide, NOBODY told me anything about the capture plate. When someone did tell me I went and looked. It was WELDED all the way around and I had to order a new pin box. I was shown a truck at camping world that hooked up his 5 er to his new truck and he didn't know he had a capture plate either. It tore the head of his hitch and ripped the bed up pretty badly! So, I'm glad someone told me before I hitched it up! Regards, BruceWheel bearingsHow often should you have them cleaned and repacked or replaced? Thanks, BruceRe: KZ dealer listI have a Durango 08 and we love it! Have over 70k on it! I see u ride cycles also! Lol? BruceRe: Landing Jack problems again.Ok, I ok'ed Bulldog 500161 10k replacement for my 5er. Thank you for your input. Wish I had someone who has them respond, oh well! Thanks again BruceLanding Jack problems again.I posted earlier about troubles with my landing jacks. They have failed again. insurance said they would buy me the Bulldog 10k electric jacks for my 5er. Can I get any info on the Bulldog jacks. Should I have the independent switches or go for the Atwood single switch that would activate both jacks at the same time. I have a Durango 325sb. I did earlier mention that the RV went all the way down and was questioned about that. I was mistaken, it only went down to where the pins were, I stand corrected and so many people caught my mistake, Thank you. bruceRe: Tonneau recommendationsI have had the trifecta trifold for 15 yrs. it's soft side and flips back. Putting one on my long bed I just flipped the handle around and the cover stays flat. I don't really keep anything in the bed but the hitch and it stays nice and clean. Bruce
