Oasisbob wrote: So can a 50 amp outlet be 110 volt or are they, or can they be 220 volt? How do you tell? They are 220, across the 2 hots, the 50-30 adapter only uses 1 hot so no issueRe: Need Immediate AdviceI don't see hoe a delamination issues impact using the fridge or not. I also doubt if the fridge is the issue for the delamantion since it would be working out from there, not to it.Re: Towing courseExcept for commercial trucks not that I know of. Videos may help. Find someone with experience to help, keep in mind experience may not mean good, i was leaning to drive a semi for the schools marching band and I could out maneuver my "instructor" the 1st day. Or buy/rent/borrow a small to medium utility or cargo trailer and practice. A small trailer is harder to control then a larger one.Re: Is my TT too big for long trips?I have a like sized trailer with a 3/4 ton and a blue ox sway pro and no issues with sway, a slight push from trucks or winds but it moves as one. I would get to a scale loaded ready for travel to be sure there is no issue here. Adjust the hitch based on actual weights and be sure the trail is level of slightly nose down. The only time I would worry about lowing tongue weight is for TV payload issues which I doubt you have. As someone else said check the trailer axle alignment or take it to a good truck / trailer shop to be sure. everything else checks out you may want to get a better hitch.Re: Rockwood/Flagstaff - travel with full fresh water tank?I always tow with a full tank as we like our home water better. I have a Flagstaff 831clbss, while I wish I could see the tank mounts I am not concerned enough to drop the belly. I am sure the capability of the mounts varies greatly through out the product line so you will probably get better answers if you post the modelRe: Cleaning my roofI would never use a pressure washer on the roof again. I had an older class A that I don't think the previous owner ever cleaned the roof. I used a pressure washer and it appeared to do a good job but about a year later the white coating started deteriorating, I believe from the pressure washer.Re: Getting used to a longer trailerI would get rid of the WDH with friction sway and get something like a Blue Ox sway pro (what I have) or an Equalizer 4 point. In my opinion that is too big of trailer for a friction bar especially on a half ton truck. My trailer slightly larger, 35' overall and I needed to upgrade to a 3/4 ton for stable towing.Re: WD hitch suggestion based on my specsI like the blue ox sway pro, it is quite and easy to setup, no need to remove to backup. for your truck and trailer anything would probably be ok, either a sway control hitch or friction bar(s). If you ever upgrade to a larger trailer only the bars are changed on the Blue ox.Re: Insurance question - Stolen tow vehicleone thought is to post your location and situation on a camping and see if someone would help. If someone had a situation like this near me and was not going too far I would pull it for them.
