Discovered that the main awning right arm was coming loose from the body of the MoHo. I located some larger lag bolts and replaced the old rusty ones. Good thing I discovered the situation before the whole awning came off as I drove down the road. All other awnings appear to be OK, even the over the slide out ones. They are getting old, however.Re: Let Me Know if You Have Allison Transmission Fluid QuestionsWelcome Tom, as others have stated, it is wonderful to have a real expert on board. You stated in another post....... "One more thing. When changing from a DEXRON-IIIH product, always drain and fill twice to ensure maximum TranSynd content. Flushing machines are not typically recommended and usually give the same results as a double drain and fill (per a test we ran at Allison)." How is the "double drain" process work? Fill with Transynd, run the coach for awhile (?) then drain and refill with NEW Transynd or re-use what was drained or ??? I realize this might be obvious to those who have accomplished the process but I would appreciate more details on the actual process. Thanks and again, welcome!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Replaced some light bulbs with LED units. Whiter light and much less heat, less current draw. I previously rep;aced all the running light bulbs with LEDs. Little by little I will have everything but the headlights replaced with LEDs.Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Installed the remote control and relay to control the new power cord reel, tested same and VOILA! it works. This addition will save me a lot of bending over and grunting to wind up that bulky 50 amp power cord. Should have installed one of these motorized power cord reels long ago.Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Washed and waxed the white fiberglass roof, replaced the refrigerator vent shroud and glued back together the XM antenna that broke off when a tree limb was too low. All new tires and a full service soon and I must install my new motorized power cord reel next week. More fun!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Put in one of them thar "trikle-Charger R" thing a ma bobs that steals some charging juice from the house batteries and uses it to keep the engine batteries charged. Put silicone caulk in the bottom seam of the passenger door to keep out the rain water.Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Replaced a switch on one of the bedroom reading lamps with one from Radio Shack. Put Rejex on part of the front of the coach.Re: CELL PHONE INTERNET ACCESSRegarding Sprint, they will first send a warning letter and then cut off your service if they find you using up large amounts of bandwidth via their network. They simply do not wish to support Internet access via their cell phones. Lots of folks do, but the ones that abuse it with lots of continous bandwidth usage get caught and dumped. Check the Sprint Users Group to read some horror stories.Re: Supplemental Brake Systems - update 8/7/06I notice that the pictures of the SMI Stay in Play show the control box mounted under the dash on the left side. Is this where it MUST be located? My "toad to be", a Honda Civic SI does not have much room there so I should probably mount the control box elsewhere. Any suggestions from you SMI Stay in Play owners? Thanks!
