If you are talking about the old asphalt they grind up out of the road we call them millings here in Florida. A lot of roads that used to be dirt roads are now covered in millings in our county. They hold up fine if prepped right. My whole driveway was done in them in 2004. I just had to freshen them up a few months ago. Your rv pad will be used rarely compared to the driveway. Just make sure your base is hard, Then spend the money to rent a drum vibratory compactor. Or hire someone that has one,to compact the millings.Re: New FW Two Hands wrote: Congratulations! Photos? I'll get some up ASAP.Re: New FW Old-Biscuit wrote: Congrats on the new trailer. Did you have water hooked up so you could check out faucets/sinks/toilet and water heater? Did you have AC Shore power to test appliances? Propane? Slideputs are great feature. Really makes it 'roomy' Hope shakedown trip goes well! Yes too all of the above. The dealer supplied every thing I asked for. Ladder, city water connection, creeper to go under rv. The only thing I could not check was cablevision but the hd antenna work well.New FWJust picked up my new 37ss Big Horn Traveler Edition. PDI went very well. One door needed adjusted. The inside could of been cleaned a little better, but overall I was pleasantly surprised on the prep by the dealer. Very nice RV for the mid tier price point. Lot of extras are standard on this unit. The double slide out in the bedroom makes a huge difference in walking around space. Shakedown trip is mid January. Hope everything continues to go well for us.PDI ChecklistCan anyone point me in the right direction to find a pdi list.Re: Golf Cart Behind FWThanks for the replies. I am going to hold off on getting one. Between the cost of the Idaho Tote, golf cart and installation I will be able to rent carts for a long time before I go in the hole. Thanks again for the info.Golf Cart Behind FWWondering if anybody has used the swivel wheel or Idaho tote system to tow a golf cart behind a FW?Re: New Big Horn 3875FBThanks for the Info. The dealer is about 5 miles from the house. Plus we have a small campground about 1 mile away we plan on doing the shakedown trip at.New Big Horn 3875FBJust purchased new FW.
