Pretty quiet and a nice base to go exploring from. The people running it were friendly and helpful.Re: Using Propane while traveling in BC - Not LegalI've only ever shut off my propane when travelling in BC just before going on the ferry to Vancouver Island. All propane bottles must be closed and tagged before boarding, never heard of a rule regarding use while on the road.Re: Tornado destroys campground in SaskatchewanPine Lake was the one that got hit near Red Deer on July 14th of 2000. 12 people died that day.Re: Cabinate Ceiling ripplyUntil an issue shows itself I wouldn't bother with it. Maybe reseal all the edges on the roof, especially in that area and keep an eye on it. Tearing it open could lead to a lot of unnecessary work. That's my 2 cents worth anyways.Re: Vintage TT needs stabilizing, but stumpedIf you're in Edmonton, head on over to Princess Auto or Canadian Tire. They will have lots to choose from.Re: Bees in my 5th WheelI had the same problem once and my wife is terrified of bees. I waited till late in the evening and the bee activity subsided. Then I gave the interior area of the kingpin a good soaking with wasp and hornet killer. Not sure if I was able to hit the nest as I couldn't see it either, but they must have moved on or died.Re: opinions on 2012 RAM 2500 5.7 gasserI'm more than pleased with mine. It has more than enough power to pull my 5th wheel up any grade that I've come across in Alberta or BC. Loaded is about 9000 lbs. It has a 4.10 rear end and I get between 11-13 MPG (Imperial). The only issues have been a front axle seal and broken exhaust manifold bolts.Re: 6.4 ram gasser? General gas towing questionsLove your line about "Smiles per Gallon instead of Miles per Gallon". I'm gonna use that :)Re: A drone while campingIf I see one hovering over my campsite I'm firing away with my slingshot. I can't tell if it's a high end unit scoping out the site or some kid playing around.Re: Is a propane fire ring a waste of money???I bought an Outland fire bowl a few years back because of the usual fire bans in the spring here in Alberta. Turned out that we seem to be using it more and more each season. We used to avoid places that didn't allow wood fires, now if we want to go there we go knowing we can still enjoy sitting around the fire in the evening.
