Any thoughts on how to correct this problem? In simple terms when you "turn on" your PC it (computer) looks for the reader to see if it is there and ready. When "you put" the SD card in the reader it sends an interrupt to the computer saying "look at me". Sounds to me like the interrupt signal is not always recognized by the computer and not a simple fix unless you are a tech. On the other hand an SD card by a different manufacture may be a fix and worth a try.Re: How often to disconnect from shore powerNot sure if this is practical in your situation but take the batteries with you and keep them on a trickle charger. You need a good 3 stage converter in the RV to prevent overcharging when on shore power.Re: 1993 Itasca chev 454 will not startThree things are required to start air, fuel and spark. Check air filter mice can build a nest in there next check for fuel then spark. This will tell you where to concentrate your troubleshooting effort.Re: Do you let you kids drive your motorhomeWhen the 1st time they asked I said the only thing you can say if you wreck it or break something is "gee dad I'm sorry" and it's up to me to resolve whatever happened so "no" you can not borrow the RV until you can afford to replace it.Re: Need driver side Windshield Chieftain WCN25RCTry some of these places. RV salvageRe: Memory leak with Firefox?I really wanted to continue using Firefox but memory usage was out of site. What I did. click on tools / options / scroll down to performance uncheck hardware acceleration / change processor limit to 2. cut my memory usage from over 1GB to 400/500 MB no noticeable changes in performance that I could tell. Let me know if this helps since I discovered this by trial and error would like to know if others have the same results.Re: FORD 460 Overheating MysteryAS I posted I went through the same problem never did get a 100% fix but improved to usable 220. Since non of my previous suggestions helped my last great guess is a restricted exhaust.Re: Not getting 115vNotice he neutral buss bar is isolated from the frame. When you replace the neutral buss bar be sure the new one is isolated from the frame as the original.Re: FORD 460 Overheating Mystery goprolocal wrote: UPDATE: The shop has had the rig for 6 weeks or so. I've been back 2x to test drive it after they said they had it fixed. Here's what they did. Replaced the radiator hoses, replaced the clutch fan, flushed the block and radiator, replaced the thermostat (for the 3rd time in 6 months). At this point, I drive the rig for 15 minutes down the highway at 65mph. With the overdrive off (to simulate engine rpms while towing) it runs at 220-230 degrees for 12-14 minutes...then in the next 2 minute period, the temp guage clicks ..jumping 10 degrees at a time...in 2 minutes, I'm at 255 degrees. When I turn the overdrive on again, it cools to 245 or so. Everything I can think of has been checked on the motor...could this be the transmission? The rig sat for a long time before we bought it...in cold temperatures. Could this have something to do with it? I'm reaching out to a transmission shop next. ugh. I did not see where the sending unit has been replaced or tested with another gauge and sending unit. I had a car with temp problems and it was corrosion at the sending unit causing a bad ground and bad reading.Re: InternetI use a GL 750s works great less expensive is the GL 300 or 150 FOR $25.
