We like Cedar Hill State Park on Joe Pool Lake. It is 26 miles from downtown Dallas. They offer quite a few 30/50 amp sites with a large number of full hookup sites as well. It is a good clean park, great fishing on Joe Pool Lake (or boating), and decent number of trails.635Views0likes0CommentsRe: Possible with younger children?
One of ours was 6 months old when we took her camping. Make sure you dress them appropriately and avoid sun or wind burn. Camping with young children can be a rewarding experience, but like home you have to keep a close eye on them. Have fun!310Views0likes0Comments
