In the middle of town and you will think you are in the country.Re: Favorite RV park close to downtown DAllas? We like Cedar Hill State Park on Joe Pool Lake. It is 26 miles from downtown Dallas. They offer quite a few 30/50 amp sites with a large number of full hookup sites as well. It is a good clean park, great fishing on Joe Pool Lake (or boating), and decent number of trails.Re: Trailer Saver BD 3We had ours for 5 years before moving to a TS3 and did not have an issue with grease being thrown around. Definitely try a little bit less grease.Re: When do you empty black tank on hookup? We empty tanks when they are full and keep the dump valves closed when not emptying the tanks.Re: Hitch Recommendations for 2017 Ford Puck System???We like TrailerSaver hitches by Hensley. Great hitch and they make an adapter for the Ford system. I agree with the choice of long-bed.Re: 2017 MOBILE SUITES QC issuesWe have a 2017 40KSSB4 Mobile Suite and have had no quality issues. Our previous unit was a Montana Big Sky and it spent 10 months out of 18 in the shop. Unfortunately, when you get a lemon it really stinks because these are not cheap.Re: Arches NP - Bad idea in SummerI agree it is more enjoyable in the spring and fall, but summer is okay if you go in the early morning (7 or 8am). Make sure you bring water to drink on the various walks.Re: Bozeman RV Parks...We have stayed at Bear Canyon and the KOA. We prefer the Bear Canyon park because the views were better, but the sites are wider at the KOA. Honestly neither park would be a mistake in my opinion.Re: Possible with younger children? One of ours was 6 months old when we took her camping. Make sure you dress them appropriately and avoid sun or wind burn. Camping with young children can be a rewarding experience, but like home you have to keep a close eye on them. Have fun!Re: Protecting Power Cord from TheftIt has been said multiple times here, but in our 30+ years of camping I have no first hand knowledge of an rv power cord being stolen.
