We can't wait to get away from the cold and snow in north Tennessee. We are looking at staying a week then heading to south Texas and see what we can find. I will start calling today to make reservations.Planning a trip to Quartzite for the RV showWe are going to the RV show in Quartzite in Jan. Having never been there we are asking for some advise on what we should expect as far as weather, roads and camp grounds. We are not much on boon docking so we are looking for a nice place to stay. My big concern is weather. Weather going and while there. Any help would be appreciated.Re: water gravity feed cap on a 2014 Montana high country 295 rkThe only thing on the side on mine is a vent cover, which is suppose to be the fresh water tank vent. But I can not get the cover off of it.water gravity feed cap on a 2014 Montana high country 295 rkI am in the process of de-winterizing for the first time our new 5th wheel montana high country and I would like to put in some sanitizer in the fresh water and then drain it. The problem is I can't find anywhere to put it in. On the docking station panel it says to open the water gravity feed cap before filling with water. Can't find that either. Does anybody know where that cap is. I suspect I can pore in the sanitizer there.Re: 5th wheel hitch in truck bed with bed linerThanks for all the good info. I am going to trash the liner and get it coated and put the hitch in. ThanksRe: Winegard carryout auto 180 degrees outGot it fixed. Called Winegard support and the last we checked was the power converter from 120v to 12v. Plugged it into a 12v outlet in the rv basement and WALA locked on the sats in about 3 minute. Outstanding support. Thanks for the suggestions.Winegard carryout auto 180 degrees outIs there away to calibrate the winegard carryout auto. Mine is checking for sats 180 degrees from where is should. I tried turning the base around but it stills want to try and find the sats in the east never checks the south/west. Is there anyway to reset it or something?5th wheel hitch in truck bed with bed linerI just bought a used 2009 Dodge 3500 with a plastic badliner. It has a goose neck hook up in the bed. I have a B&M hitch for the goose neck that came out of my old truck which had no bed liner. My question is: Should I cut the bed lined out where the hitch goes or just put it on top of bed liner. ThanksRe: TN to BostonThanks for all the suggestions and route help. Our daughter has jumped in with massive airline miles. So we are taking the easy way out and fly there and back. I was not looking forward to driving through all of those big city's, so that solves that. Thanks again for all the help.Re: TN to BostonThis sounds like a trip to hell and back. My daughter has moved to Andover, ma and works in Boston. We are in Northwest Tennessee, towing a 30 ft 5er. When I map it from here I get two routes. One takes us up to ohio and straight across Pen on the toll road. They other takes us up to Cleveland and across a small spot of Pen and straight across NY into Boston. The mileage on that one is like 1,400 miles. I looks like if I go that way even though it is longer it avoids all the big city stuff except Boston. I don't mind paying tolls if I can get there faster and safer, but would rather be safer then quicker.
