suse1023 your timing to get gate guarding should be good. things will pick up by then and some gate guards will be leaving. it has been a cold winter here and pretty slow for gate guards. loma lost 70 gates in sept so most of those gate guards have had to find another gate co. shell has mostly moved to west tx. in Catarina and Cotulla things have slowed way down. tildon and Gonzales are picking up pretty good.548Views0likes0CommentsRe: Information Discussion for Gate Guards
slam them?????? how else could it be interpeted he informed us that it rarely (rarely as in almost never) happens unless "there is cause to do so". i know it was a quote from his supper. "We have seen a GG company initiate a search on two separate occasions, so it is done. We are also aware of and know people that were searched or told they were going to be searched with 4 different companies. The 3 worst for conducting searches are Chesapeake, Pioneer & Talisman." it would have been nice if you would have stated this earlier. that is an answer to my originaL question. i did not say it does not happen i said "i know of NO searches done by a GATE GUARD CO" had you stated this sooner i would not have been ignorant of it taking place! it's funny that you would imply WE were searched for a reason, we are on the companies good side the chesapeake people love us, our last 2 co men asked us to move with them and were very disapointed when we would not go. on jan15 we told our gate guard co we were taking time off and want to be replaced on the 1st of feb. the meaning of right and legal has changed in my lifetime, it no longer takes into account, personal privacy or do unto others as you would have them do unto you or the fact that there is no known issue to be delt with. you no longer have to be creating a problem to be suspect. and it aint going to get better. i know of three seaches ALL had a rig on the pad.413Views0likes0CommentsRe: Information Discussion for Gate Guards

have any of you gate guards had your rv searched by an energy company or your gate guard co. we were searched on aug 21-2012 the searchers were chesapeak exect's. they also pee tested us and checked our breath for alcohal. they searched every trailer and every pickup and car of the rig workers too. even the co mans office. they tested the rig workers too.412Views0likes0CommentsRe: Information Discussion for Gate Guards
the new contract is our reason too. the pay cut is bad but the contract is way out of line. i wish i could say that the number of gate gaurds leaving loma would help them see the wrong they are doing. but i know that it will not. loma is a hopeless case. our 20k cat gen has had one oil change in 4 months, and is typical of loma's over all business practices311Views0likes0Comments
