The sony worked at home so I brought an old analog 2 ch. receiver into the camper and hooked it up and there is no hiss on any of the speakers. A coworker of mine has a higher end DVD/tuner that he is going to let me try I'll post results next week. If anybody has any more thoughts please post them.

I checked it this weekend and the hiss is just in the right side. I took an extention cord and pluged it into the power box outside and still have the hiss. I brought the unit home and I will do more troubleshooting this week.

There was a ground on the Coby to one of the screws, so I did the same to the Sony and still got the hiss. I'll sand the the paint and try to get a better ground. Thanks for the advice and I'll let you know how it turns out

stereo hiss
I have a 2008 Sundance 3300SK that had a Coby DVD/FM surround system in it that went bad. I bought a Sony DAV-TZ140 to replace the receiver. Now I have a hiss from both the DVD and FM radio. I bought a 60's noise filter from ebay, but that didn't work. Any suggestions?
