Good times. Now it’s time to get the two rock chips repaired that appeared on the return trip just 5 five miles from the house. :M Yes, we got the trucking company name for that unsecured load of gravel.Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?:R wanting to flush the pink stuff out of the pipes, but lows this past week have been in the 20's. :pRe: 12 volt dehumidifierBeen using a 12 volt dehumidifier Eva-Dry 2200 since November on weekend trips and when parked by the garage. Exterior humidity is generally 85 to 99%. At the moment temp it is 29F at 99% humidity. Inside the rig it is 54% humidity, never saw it above 70% since we plugged it in.Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Went for a four-day camp 15 NOV in 20F and forgot a few soft side package food items in the overhead slider storage. :S Now on a small critter hunt and purge :E . Then a complete wipe down and washing of the bedding. Lesson learnedRe: Freeze dried foodsor make your own. Big benefit, no sodium and very cost effective. Side benny good smells when dehydrating. :W Starter vid from a backpacker, there are several and all very informative. https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_7627&feature=iv&src_vid=J3iYj025fcg&v=hu1-9DkmUKIRe: 1996 Roadtrek 190 Versatile Steering IssueWhile this is not about a1996 RT, I have a 1997 (on a 1996 chassis) and found some useful info. http://www.roadtrekchapter.org/region7/user/image/tsb1900201reva.pdf http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/131956/print/true.cfmRe: sticky tape residue and macerator for 2004 RoadtrekI had the a similar issue with my "new" 1997 D190V, got the same three recommendations noted above when I asked last year. :) Found Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner worked the best, just remember to wipe off the cleaner with a damp cloth. No recommendations on the macerator.Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Last month I went looking for a fiberglass marine wax/polish for the roof. After seeing the sticker price shock of $16 + USD for 12 oz (354.82 ml.) btl . . . stepped back and decided to look in the auto section. Flash back, found Nu Finish. :C I had used it in the past millennium to remove oxidization http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC7U0ah896c from the then current ‘ride’. Noted now it was Ok to use on fiberglass, so I picked up the 16 oz (473.18 mi) btl for $ 9.50 USD plus the Governors stipend. :R Upshot . . . is it worked as well as I remembered. Side benefit it also removes the infamous black streaks quite nicely. Washed and put the second coat on the roof yesterday. It now has a shine to it that was not there previously (the 1995 paint finish started out near Lost Wages, now in the land of Cool n Drippy these past four years) so for the owners of the newer clear coats . . . rub lightly as is said in a ‘test’ area. Worked well on my ‘new’ old finish.:B Side note, it did not work as well on Capt. Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure reside. So much to relearn :C
