Tech support great. X2!!Re: Looking for RV parks near Boston MAWe've stayed at Winter Island in Salem. Basically just a marina parking lot with RV sites around the perimeter and tent sites. Two caveats: (1) the directions to the campground will take you over city streets with fairly low weight limits, better to follow truck route. (2) if you will be out in the evening be sure to ask for a gate key as they lock it up fairly early in the evening! (don't ask!)Re: What ever happened to RV Park Reviews?Completely agree with all of the comments. They took something that worked really well and made it practically useless! Sometimes I hate "progress"!Re: Tires questionBeen running that size XPS Ribs on my fiver for 8 years, 5k to 7k miles per year. Just put on eight new ones this summer (2 axle, duals). Never one issue with the tires. Trailer weighs 18,500 ready to to travel and I run the tires at 70 psi based on axle weights. I heartily endorse the XPS Ribs!Re: What do I need to know - smart car- toy haulerFair amount of mis-information on smart car safety here. cwill925 has it right. If you are concerned do some investigation, don't listen to uninformed alarmists. Our 2011 smart was hit 3/4 head on by a Chevy pickup running a red light at 50 MPH plus. My buddy & I had slight injuries caused by the seat belts. All eight (yes 8) airbags deployed and the egg shaped frame protecting the passenger compartment was undamaged, doors still opened and closed. We have no fear at all driving our smart - better crash damage ratings than most cars on the road.Re: NM-26 Between Hatch and Deming, New MexicoUse it all the time. Good road with light traffic. Only drawback is it is two lane, dead straight most of the way. USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS!Re: replacement bunk latch for rockwood roo hybridI would start with Colaw RV Salvage There is a pretty comprehensive list hereRe: Campground Maximum LengthDutchman and others had lots of good advice and it will usually be sufficient, but the campgrounds can still throw you an unexpected curve. Last summer I ran into one in an Oregon State Park where I would fit in the site. It was at a right angle to roadway. I knew this and knew I could get in, BUT when we arrived we found there were three trash cans protected by concrete posts in the road directly opposite the site! No way to get in there with my rig! That was the only one out of 12 Oregon State Parks that I could not get into. A couple of places took some jockeying and in a couple I had to park the truck away from our site.Re: RV sales are slipping"RVs can range in price from about $12,000 for a folding camping trailer to $212,000 for a high-end motor home ..." some real in depth research there!
