I hope you will find this blog post helpful. http://quinnsawesomejourney.blogspot.com/2014/10/1092014-dont-blow-your-breaker.htmlRe: RV SayingsIf you can't see me in the mirror, I can't see you!Re: Looking for Campfire Treat IdeasHere's what we're making. Wannadingers! Also known as biscuit on a stick. Here's a blog post I made giving step by step directions on how to make the sticks. You can use them over and over for years to come and all the Wannadingers will be uniform in size. No more crying because one's biscuit is bigger than another. I've included ideas for filling not only for dessert but the three meals of the day also. I will check back to see if anyone here has other ideas for filling. Wannadinger sticksRe: kids activities for seasonal campingFor older kids and adults here's a great way to spend an evening, think dinner or dessert. Or morning, think breakfast! Make Wannadimgers! They are, essentially, biscuit on a stick. I learned about these tasty treats last winter and have made them for every meal and dessert. It keeps everyone occupied for awhile, makes for easy cleanup and are just so darn good. I just posted this blog post today with step by step instructions on how to make the sticks. Once made, they'll last for years. I'll check back for ideas from all of you for filling ideas. http://quinnsawesomejourney.blogspot.com/2014/05/51614-wannadinger-or-biscuit-on-stick.htmlRe: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Hi Richard, I haven't been on the site for awhile as we are now fulltime RV'ers and we keep pretty busy. I was using my cell phone the other day and as I scrolled down the list of numbers I came across yours that I put in there a year and a half ago! I see your number every day that I use my cell but it just seemed to jump out me as a reminder that I hadn't been on the thread and it was time to catch up. I randomly put in page numbers to see if I could pick up where I last left off and soon found that place. It wasn't long before the Old Fella story was being retold and I was enjoying it all over again. I got to the part where you went to Hunting Island and thought to myself, "OH, this is where we met Rich and Sue and of course Old Fella and Levi. I had wondered if in your retelling of the story if you remembered us and sure enough in the next posting was the part about me asking in the office about Old Fella and getting blank stares from the office personnel. I remember you asking me, like it was yesterday, if I had just asked about Old Fella. When I looked at you and Sue I had recognized you instantly. Bob and I so enjoyed our visit with you and I have introduced the Old Fella thread to many along the way. I am so happy to read all that has gone since that day you first found this loving dog. I followed with great interest through all the rescues you've been involved with, the antics of Suzy, Dixie, Anna and all the rest. Richard, you and Sue are truly very special people and I feel honored to have met you in person. I will you keep in my prayers while you work through these vision problems. Please give our regards to Sue and tell her Bob and Snookie say Hello!Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Did I miss the picture of OF on the water tower? What date was the post so that I can go back and get it.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}How big do you expect these dogs will get? I'm just thinkin' at this point Richard, don't get your hopes up yet.
