Only drunken revelers would let that happen..Re: Onan Fuel StabilizerI don’t know if it’s the best but I use Stabil Marine Grade fuel stabilizer. I have used it for 5 years and have had no issues.Re: Coachman Freelander 21RS- Fresh water drainSounds like they are wanting you to fix their build error.Re: Minnie Winnie 31G Water in CompartmentI had that happen one time when I parked it overnight with the compartment in the path of a rotor sprinkler head.Re: Tire pressure monitoring system dumb questionsI have had the Tire Minder system for 5 years. I have 6 removable cap sensors on brass valve extenders. It was at least a year before I had to change any cap battery. Replacing batteries in the caps is very easy. After about 2 or 3 years one of the cap cases cracked so I had to replace it. I bought the very inexpensive cap kit with multiple cases and O rings. After four years one of the sensors locked up at a constant reading. I replaced it. The receiver/computer has a learning mode to set up which caps are on which tire. The system has been very useful and reliable, has calibrated well against a high accuracy manual gauge, and requires no fussing. I read the receiver whenever I want and leave it on continuously when I am traveling to alert me when issues arise. The receiver is always plugged into power when I am driving. So far the receiver battery is going strong. The receiver battery is not replaceable. I don’t use a sensor on the spare. I can add air when it gets installed and will use the bad tire sensor.Re: EZPASSMine is behind the rear view mirror mostly out of my line of sight and I have had no problems with it registering the toll. You can see the overhang in the signature below.Re: 1999 Four winds infinity class CI think they are trying to take advantage of you. I am getting 7 new tires (including spare) balanced and installed Tuesday for $1435. So I know that your tire quote is a rip off.Re: Keeping fresh water freshThe chlorine in city water is only effective for a short while. If the water sits for very long it will grow organisms. In very rainy times when much less water gets used because no one is watering their lawns, cities can have problems with their water tanks going bad from low usage. The RV systems need to either keep treated water flowing through at a good rate (refilling and using up and refilling) or be emptied and sanitized periodically. Sanitize by emptying and refilling with 1/4 cup bleach per 10 gallons of water, open all the faucets until you smell the bleach, let it sit for a few hours or more, then empty and rinse until the smell is gone. I close off the hot water heater from this process but make sure I open it and get it thoroughly rinsed with fresh treated city water.Re: Class CI agree with Expyinflight. There is no replacement for time spent thinking and researching. When you have settled on what is important to you the choice becomes easy. For example, it is seriously important to me to minimize the probability of complex failures that could prevent me from leaving a site so I ruled out slides. Others wouldn’t think of an RV without a slide.Re: slippery shower floorIf cleaning a mat bothers you, wait until you see what happens to a sandpapered/epoxy covered shower floor. Just rinse and hang the mat to dry after each use.
