Might need a bigger litter box...Re: Homeless Cat -- Now Spotacus' LegacyWanderlost, My cats would love a Class A! It would be so much easier that the 5th wheel for them... My little female rescue Noah (thought she was a male when I rescued her LOL) spent the night the last 2 nights inside and I think she will stay.. :) Seems to be working out well with my male Max... Noah is talkative too - especially at feeding time she will just start talking and talking and talking while you put the food in her bowl and it is so tiny it sounds like tiny barks of a dog... LOL So cute! She doesn't know how to meow I don't think... My male is such a gentleman that he just sits by the bowl till you see him and just looks at you... He'll sit by the door to go outside and he doesn't make a sound. He is so much more patient than me!Re: Homeless Cat -- Now Spotacus' LegacyWe have tried to travel with our oldest male but he MEOWS so loud it will make you nuts and he doesn't stop. Now that is in a carrier in the truck but I wonder if we let him stay in the trailer while we travel down the road without a carrier if you think it would be safe for him??? I can't have him without a carrier in the truck as he wanders and tries to get under the drivers feet to see what he's doing! LOL he has long nails and claws and is not easy to control when he don't want to. (Though he would NOT bite or scratch intentionally - he is a good boy) Plus it is hard for me to stay in a seatbelt and try to grab him when he goes where he isn't suppose to in the truck... What do you think? He is ok in new places it is just getting him there that is the BIG problem.Re: Homeless Cat -- Now Spotacus' LegacyMax our oldest and I fight over the bed. I don't like him sleeping on the bed and leaving all the cat hair as I'm allergic. Over the years I've gotten used to him but I still don't like all the cat hair on the bed where I can't even put my clean clothes on it to fold them... SO I decided when we moved to this house 2 years ago that since he got the guest room and the guest bed all to himself that he didn't need MY bed too. LOL He didn't agree! But I thought I won as he stays off until we go to bed and then he gets on the headboard above us only. Well then it got cold so he decided while we were sleeping he would climb down and get on the bed and it has been cold so I didn't say anything. Now he just jumps on the bed and lays there and forget the headboard.. LOL he will work himself into having the bed all the time you watch! We always leave it for him when we leave for a few days as he feels more comfortable we think being in our bedroom. He is more stubborn and patient than me but I'm learning.... He will soon be real mad though as tonight we are going to try to let our female rescue stay in the house instead of the garage at night and she will then be invading his nighttime territory... HUm - will prove interesting I'm sure...;)Re: Homeless Cat -- Now Spotacus' LegacySometimes it just seems meant to be somehow when animals show up and then everyone starts getting along. It sounds like things are going great! He has humans and other cats to play with I'd say he is one very lucky cat - he chose your house for some reason so that is where he wants to be. We have two cats now and have had up to four at times and have not been so lucky with them getting along. Luckily these two rescues are getting along well and all are happy. My male that we have had for 7 years now is still not real happy with her and gets jealous as she will get on our laps and he won't but he doesn't want her too either but that is tough because I want her on my lap and I have decided I'm the Alpha kitty! LOL Don't tell hubby - he thinks he is! :)Re: Maintenance Reminder for Full-TimersOne thing I'd like to add is caulk... I just got done recaulking one 5ver and need to start on my other one. We camp in one and have on property... In Texas the sun just destroys the caulk... Plus I could really tell how much the manufacturer skimps on caulk. One thing we just found out on the last camping trip is the cheap plastic faucets they put in, well I broke the cold water knob one off in the bathroom(a pressure valve Ithink hubby called it broke), are replaceable with standard faucets at Walmart - I thought they would be made for RVs but they are not so if full timing and have plastic faucets you might think of replaceing them with metal ones. Also luckaly hubby had plugs for the water line so we could still have water to the trailer since it was 4th of July and we thought we had to go to an RV place to get a new faucet. They didnt' tell us on the phone so after driving 30 miles to get there they then tell us we could have gone to Walmart but they didnt' want us to so they didnt' tell us on the phone - you talk about no customer service!! Thanks for the list... :) Debbie
