Just happen to be at a dealership today with a Ram 1500 Diesel on the showroom floor. It was a Laramie 4x4 with most all options. It had a sticker price of just over $60,000 and a payload of 994 pounds. Sorry, I don't know what towing weights were.273Views0likes0Comments- 646Views0likes0Comments

I have found that the numbers they put on a unit is close to the length from the back wall to the front wall on the inside. The outside measurement is the back include the wall and bumper and the front includes the front cap and hitch pin. Most of the time, and this not all units is real close to 4 plus feet.646Views0likes0CommentsRe: How to use scales at Pilot
Just did a weigh at a Cat Scales and everything that has been said is true. My experience went this way. They asked is the a First Weigh or a Reweigh, if first, say so, they then ask for truck number, say private weigh or maybe something like RV One. Cost was $10.00 and reweigh is $2.00 and must be done within 24 hours. If longer than 24 hours, machine knows it and will disallow it. My 2010 Ram 4x4 is right at 58 inches to the top of the bed rail. I have the Reflection 27RL and I pull maybe 2 inches nose high. I have 6-7 inches of bed rail clearance. With that being said, my friend's 2015 2500 4x4 with 20 inch wheels is right 61 inches at the bed rail. Don't know what you have, but you go from there. By the way, what ever I am nose high, it's not a problem and really looks nice with no problems going down the road. Check out Grand Design owner's forum, you will see Grand Design has, maybe one of the best customer service policy going. My Grand Design Reflection has been almost flawless so far, but know things can happen. Your 2500 will be over GVWR as others have said, still way under RAWR.526Views0likes0Comments
