Mine is a Primetime Lacrosee.Re: Carlisle Radial Trail HD? bstar1952 wrote: I always buy from Discount Tire but those HDs are expensive and DT does not offer a road hazard warranty on ST tires. So I shopped around and just brought a set (225/75/R15, load range E) online from Tread Depot. Even with shipping, I saved over $30 per tire from DT. I asked DT for a price match but never heard back from them. https://www.treaddepot.com/#!productGroup/tires/rtlhd I also did 2 at a time and took to a local tire shop here in my town for balancing and mounting. So far happy with the tires. I'm not sure about the road hazard and ST tires. I have it on the Maxis tires I bought and it was replaced for free after a blow out. Of course they never have Maxis in stock they they gave me a Carlisle replacement.Re: Kaboom goes the tireI had a body shop do all my repairs. 100$ insurance deductible and all I had to do was wait 4 days. They rebuilt my wheel well with a piece of metal and replaced my plastic skirting outside the wheel well.Re: The China-Bomb debate Put to rest jerem0621 wrote: phone man wrote: I towed for years on China Bombs and unheard of brand names. I mean did it go boom and you immediately pulled over...was there a boom? Or did it just go flat and you drove on it for miles and miles... Left San Antonio in the morning after checking my cold air pressure. Drove about 70 miles on interstate highway at 62 mph, heard a pop, looked at my wife, guy pulled up beside me and yelled I had lost a tire, pulled over. From pop to pull over less than 2 minutes. Lost the tire and 3K in damages to trailer. Thanks Re: Waxed the camper this weekend. Any tips/tricks for future? Before today I have never waxed my trailer. It is a 2011 model and the fiberglass was pretty dull and chalky. I used a single coat of Mequiars Oxidation Remover with a DA polisher and followed up with Turtle Wax Ice spray. Took me 6 hours and about killed me, but the shine is back. I think next time I will just go with Nufinish once a year and let it be.Re: Impact of Texas flooding on my travel plans...I live close to Austin and I spend a lot of time at many of the Highland Lakes. That being said, I've pretty much had to cancel most of my trips so far this year.Re: The China-Bomb debate Put to restI towed for years on China Bombs and unheard of brand names. I came from a 2000 Ford V10 so I have no other diesel to compare it to, but man oh man that motor has some power. I always thought diesel fanboys were guilty of too much boasting, but I'm sold on them now.Re: How do you get a a canoe on your truck? windviewer wrote: i have this for our canoe and our tundra. havent tried it yet but it was the best thing i could think of. http://www.rhinorack.com/en-us/products/water/kayak-loaders/rhino-universal-side-loader_rusl I had one similar to that, but it was made by Thule. Worked great for solo loading.Re: Easy on Wax?? APT wrote: I only wax my TT because it makes keeping it clean better. It doesn't been it. Therefore, I use Nufinish with a orbital/polisher for quick work. I recommend any synthetic/sealant/polymer over carnuba wax. Do you apply by hand and take off with the polisher or use the polisher for application also?
