Greetings all! This is my first post (though I've been lurking about for almost six months so I already feel rather acquainted with the community). My wife and I have talked about taking the dive into RVs for several years (you could say we're veterans of "roughing it") but were hesitant because of the significant investment required . . . until very recently!!! We have had the fortunate opportunity to purchase a 1977 Holiday Rambler (27.5' I think) for a price that is obscene (in a good way) to "test the waters" so to speak. We took her on her maiden (to us) voyage this weekend with the kiddos (2 and 4) with great success, and I must say the whole family is hooked (as were a fish or two)!! I must say thank you for the pages and pages of useful information imparted through the thousands of threads contained here! As a parting gift (for this post at least), I present to you . . .
