These were very helpful.Looking into Season Site for 2014 anything to watch out for?We will be looking at Seasonal sites this weekend to see if we would like to try it for a year. I try to do research as best as possible but would love to hear any advise, things to watch out for, from those that have been down this road. We love being able to go to different places but as the kids get older our schedules are getting more hectic. So instead of giving up camping for the year I suggested we look at getting a seasonal site within 2 hours from the house and then we can just throw clothes in the truck and go. We love the area we are looking at just concerened with getting bad neighbors. We are visiting 3 different campgrounds this weekend.Re: Columbus Oh campgroundsIf you are just looking for a place to park the RV that has full service sites I believe Alton RV Park would work. Now this is basically a gravel parking lot so nothing fancy but it is always full with people who live a few months in Ohio and then move south for the winter. This place is located on the west side of Columbus but I-70 & I-270 are close by. If you want some nature to visit while here Prairie Oaks and Battle Darby Metro Parks are close by so you can do some hiking/fishing. Battle Darby has Biason at the park that you can see on one of their trails.Re: Where are you going for the 4th of July?We leave tomorrow to head to Hickory Star Campground and Marina on Norris Lake, TN. I am sure it will be packed but it was the only time we could get get a way.Re: Family camping in OhioWe live in Columbus, Oh and have 3 children. Boys are 13 & 12 and daughter is 9. We camp every year at East Harbor State park. We love Lake Erie area.Re: What are your fun family activites while camping? Our kids are now 13,12,9 but they love to ride bikes, hike, fish, swim, have water gun fights, corn hole, and any type of crafts. Traditions for us we always make smores and doughnuts. We don't buy doughnuts at home only when we go camping so they love to wake up the first morning and eat doughnuts. We also always find a local place and get pizza (either pick up or they deliver right to our site). I enjoy getting the pizza because it means I don't have to cook.Re: Keystone Bullet Premier RainbowsEnd wrote: deffenm welcome to the Keystone Bullet Premier family. Which model did you get? What TV will you use to tow this? We also upgraded from a popup to ours. Many awesome memories to you and yours in your new TT! We purchased the 31BH. Our TV is a 2008 Ford Expedition and we purchased the Equilizer 4 way- sway control and weight distribution hitch. So far we are very happy with our purchase.Re: Keystone Bullet PremierThis is my first post to this site. We just picked up this unit on MLK Day. We upgraded our Popup for this TT. We are very excited and can't wait for our first camping trip. We are a family of 5, plus a dog and this model fit almost all of our needs. I will be reading posts and looking for information. Our popup did not have a bathroom so this is new for us. I do rely on my husband to figure these things out and then teach me but it would be nice to understand what he is talking about :D. I am also nervous about towing the TT. I could tow the popup just fine but this is a lot bigger. I am sure after a few road trips I will be a pro. I look forward to sharing our camping experiences and learning from everyone on here.
