Easy in, easy out and the performance has been excellent.Re: Are there any hitches to avoid, looking to buy ? Rygar wrote: I have the Andersen Ultimate. No negative issues at all. Best thing about it is it weighs 35lbs. Easy in and out of the truck. Paid under $1000. I have the same hitch, best pull ever for me and easy to remove from the truck bed. And you can't beat the price.Re: Looking for 5th wheel ideasCheck the Grand Design 350 MRe: Looking at moving to a 5th wheel goducks10 wrote: garyp4951 wrote: Cedar Creek, best customer service out there. MitchF150 wrote: My filter is only connected in line to a specific faucet on the sink. The rest of the system is just what's in the tank or city water connection. I've changed it once in 14 years... ;) Guess I'm about due now, since it's been about 7 years just to say I did it.. :) Really, the only time we use that faucet is for the morning coffee, so we probably put a gallon or two thru it on a long weekend trip about 5-6 times a year.. Anyway, haven't gotten sick, or died yet! :) We always use our own water tank for water from home anyway, so no real worries... It's only a 30 gallon tank, so no big deal hauling it. Good luck! Mitch You could easily add an inline hose filter. They do help quite a bit.Re: Short high line fifth wheel? Jbird wrote: Does anybody anymore make a relatively short (30-32')high line fifth wheel? Excel,Hitchhiker,Travel Supreme etc are all gone. The only thing Ive been able to find is a 32' Mobile Suite that's 34' Grand Design makes some models in the size you are looking for.Re: Grand Design Busdriver wrote: I am looking at a grand design 303 rls. What are your thoughts good or bad. The thing that worrys me is the lippit frame. Is this a new Grand Design? If so, no worries Lippert will stand behind any issues and get them repaired.Re: Grand Design momentum 350MCheck out the Andersen hitch as well. I have the 350 and love it. With a short bed and that hitch you can almost get to 90 degree turns. SRW may be an issue with the weight but I think some others are using them.Re: Looking at buying a Weekend Warrior???? Since we will be full-timing, kitchen storage is a must, a decent sized shower (not on the corner), and an east-west bed configuration so we can get cross-breezes. We currently have a TT and I really don't like the north-south bed configuration. I had to flip the head/foot orientation so we could get the breeze across our faces and not our feet. One of my favs thus far is the DRV Fullhouse model, all the features of a 5th wheel, but with an exorbitant price tag unfortunately. Look at the Grand Design Momentum Toyhaulers as well. Lots of garage size options.
