The space between the wheels is more than an 1 inch greater on one side compared with the other. The off-door (driver's side) wheels make a racket when turning during backing up, and they revolve eccentrically. I also had 10 ply (E type tires). One blew out in Nowhere WY (apparently the axle had already bent). Now I have 14 ply (G type tires) and I'm about to upgrade to 8K Dexter axles.Replacing Bent Axle - type and sizeI have a 2014 Grand Designs Solitude 5th wheel trailer. On our last trip we bent an axle, although we did not drive over any bad roads or potholes. The trailer has dual 7K lippert axles. I’m wondering whether to upgrade to heavier duty axles if that’s even feasible. Any experience with similar issues? Thanks. Background: I weighed the trailer when we returned from our trip. The weight on the axles was 12,000 lb so each axle was bearing 6K or 1K under specifications. The total trailer weight was 15,460 which is under the 16,000 GVWR for the trailer.Best route from Cheyenne WY to Coulter Bay (Grand Teton) WYI'm looking for information on which is the best route from Cheyenne WY to Coulter Bay (Grand Teton) WY. Choices are: 1) I25 north from Cheyenne to Casper then Hwy 26 west to Coulter Bay; 2) I80 west from Cheyenne to Rock Springs then Hwy 191 north to Coulter Bay. I'm towing a 40 ft long 13 ft high 5th wheel. Thanks, PatFirst TripHi All, We'll be taking our first trip next month and it will be a long one. Three days travel time to our destination. The question is: should we travel with water tanks full or empty? Full means less setup/take down time and possibly less chucking. Empty means less weight. Thanks for the help, Pat
