On a little 22' that engine is overkill; let it spin.Re: What to look for in a Class C?Since I'm actually buying Class 'C' number 2, this is what was important to me: A. Floorplan. If you can't live in it, you're not going to like it. B. CROWNED Roof. My first motorhome has/had a fiberglass roof. Which is great. But it was FLAT. Which was NOT GREAT. There are plenty of 5th wheels and VERY expensive travel trailers w/ a TPO or rubber roof. I'll take a crowned roof w/ gutters ANY day over a flat one w/ fiberglass. Crowned fiberglass would be perfect. I'm getting a crowned TPO. C. CCC. Check the cargo capacity. The longer you go, the heavier you go. The more creature comforts you get in it, the heavier you go. Modern day yellow CCC stickers allow for fuel and propane, that's it. People, food, water, etc. all go against CCC. Make sure your rig can carry what you need. D. Read 'C' one more time, and make sure you fully understand it.Re: Tough Choice: Jayco Greyhawk 2015 vs. 2016What do you have to have done? They told me to clean it once a year. And it is stored under cover (but not inside ). Obviously I have to inspect my seals, but I'm thrilled to have that one piece cap!Re: Tough Choice: Jayco Greyhawk 2015 vs. 2016I went with the 2015. Dealer sweetened the pot a bit for me, and DW liked the interior of the unit more.Re: Ford E450 supportYah, none of this sounds right to me either. The E450 has hundreds of thousands of units on the road. Ambulances, buses, etc. Seems to me the part should be in good supply.Re: Tough Choice: Jayco Greyhawk 2015 vs. 2016Yep, that's what my dealer told me. 7 bad ones on the road, and they got 2 of them. They are none to happy about it too. I DO believe the gearshift on the dash is different on the 2016 E450s. That's the thing that tipped me off that something might have changed.Re: Tough Choice: Jayco Greyhawk 2015 vs. 2016I know because MORyde told them there are 6 more just like it.Re: Tough Choice: Jayco Greyhawk 2015 vs. 2016Yep - thanks Mich. I hit that link up as soon as things started to change.Re: Tough Choice: Jayco Greyhawk 2015 vs. 2016FWIW I called Jayco. They use Dicor Diflex II on their 2015 roofs. Non felt back. http://www.dicorproducts.com/catalog/roof-products-for-manufacturers/membranes/diflex-ii-tpo-roofing/Re: Tough Choice: Jayco Greyhawk 2015 vs. 2016I believe its MORyde.
