I know of some rustic sites in the Superior National Forest which would be cool. Would also love to find something that requires some light off-roading and has spots on the water to camp. Thanks for any suggestions! I'm in the Twin Cities and wanted to find some spots within 200-300 miles. Hopefully I can talk my daughter into a trip out west before long.Lance 825 bulb typeMorning all... My 2010 Lance 825 is stuck in storage. I'd like to order LED bulbs for the docking and amber side exterior lights. Does anyone know what type of base the bulb has? Once I have the bulb type, I'll report back with the best VLED lights for the job. Also would like to replace marker and clearance lights with led this summer if anyone has a replacement light and housing they'd recommend let me know.Re: Recommendations for solar setupBka - that would work except that I need to keep my Thule cargo box mounted up there. I need to get out to the storage unit and get some measurements in suitable install areas. I'd really like to make some flexible panels work if possible. Side note, I did some camping in single digits when hunting last year. I didn't think battery drain would be an issue, but didn't account for how much the furnace fan would drain the battery running constantly. Huge drain and took my battery life down to a day or two if I remember correctly. Another reason to get as much panel up here as possible.Lance 825 pre wired for AC?I have a 2010 Lance 825. It has a fantastic fan, but no AC. I did notice it has a breaker marked for AC. Does anyone know if one of the vents may already be wired for AC? Also, the other two vents don't currently have fans which pretty much defeats the purpose. I'm wondering if they may be wired for 12v fans.Re: TOYOTAS TUNRA & TCI have a 2010 Tundra double cab TRD off road and a Lance 825. I installed air bags and E rated tires and she hauls like a dream. I did a 10 mile test run before bags and with stock BFG tires. It was close to bottoming out and really wallowed down the road. I wouldn't feel overly comfortable on the highway without suspension/tire upgrades.Re: TC organizationThanks for all the great replies. Ideas related to efficient packing of booze were especially relevant! As one poster mentioned, its a whole different type of camping than our 28' class A and frankly I'm very much looking forward to simpler camping that keeps us outside more! That is the whole idea after all. I picked the new rig up last week and hauled it home. Should have our maiden voyage locally for a night or two this weekend!TC organizationIn the process of moving from a class A to smaller truck camper. Weight and efficient use of space will be paramount. What are some of the best organizational tips out there?Re: Finding the right TCNegotiated down to $13k for Camper, generator, tie down system, air bags, Thule rack and box. That's a good 2k in add ins, so I feel like this was a very fair price. Pumped to get back in the game after selling our last rv!!!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Installed a new Sony stero head unit wight iPod and Pandora control. Replaced garbage 4" front speakers with 6x9 Kickers. Now just waiting for 32"LED to arrive for installation. This new setup is going to be painful with SD directv. I'm sure that upgrade won't be long now....Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Removed every last decal in prep for new ones. What a chore!
