We are now on our third hybrid, and so far, we noticed how improved they have become. From a Travelstar, to a Palomino, to a Roo 23ws, the improvements are there! They are so much easier to set up (no more bungies), easier to winterize (from outside), easier to clean the black tank (there's an inlet outside), and I'm sure I forgot a few things! We lost our first one when a pine tree fell on it.......oh well ! the insurance gave me more then what I paid for! We sold the second one... we thought we were gonna be seasonal but I'm sure you know hybrid is not the best camper if you be seasonal.......and finally our plans changed! Good chance, we sold the second one the price we paid for it two years earlier. So........we bought that third one......Goes to show how much we love hybrids ! I can't believe how many negative answers you're getting..........I seriously think those folks NEVER had an Hybrid. We are now on our third one and I don't think we'll ever go for something else. We now have a Roo 23ws and simply love it! If I were you , I would go on Forest River forum site and read about how people are happy with their Hybrids...... Here in Maine, the State Park campgrounds close after Labor Day weekend. However, you can still go camping until Columbus Day depending on the weather (Call first). There is no one at the gate....but the prices are posted and you just put the money in the envelopes provided. Once in a while, a ranger will come to pick up the envelopes and tour the campground. You first go and pick your site (water/electricity sites are still available).
