Winklejj: Did your cupboard beside the fridge get warm like Cruz's?? After reading Cruz's post was thinking we need a to add insulation of some sort as we also keep food in there, gets hot & humid in the summer here in southern Ontario. May also have to add a couple of those pull out pantry selves, neat idea! Frank, we are thinking of you and your Lady and hope she is feeling better. Take care. Ahagen: Regarding winterizing... DH is going to insulate the storage compartment doors. Last year we also bought foam pipe insulation and covered the heat tape and waterhose, wrapped hosebib with the foam & electrical tape. In the really cold weather always leave a water tap running. Also thinking about a small electric heater in storage compartment. When we were in Alberta noticed some of the campers had wrapped the hose bib with fiberglas insulation & plastic sheeting and then placed a plastic pail over that. We did NOT leave out the sewer line, only connected it when we needed to dump, didn't want to risk a frozen sewer line. Sorry to see this forum closed, was really interesting to read. Also have a Jayco Designer. sanderson.66, DW bought a pizza stone for the oven, haven't tried it yet, came with a metal stand, thought might be handy. Also, put a couple of placemats under the DVD player as heat from the fireplace was heating up the unit. Took out the Euro chairs, replaced with 2 full size Lazy Boy recliners, much better. Anyone had any trouble with the Dometic microwave?? Ours seems okay, just noticed seems to be a lot of recalls for that make.251Views0likes0Comments
