The two apposing sofas are fold out sleepers and are really comfortable. Perfect for when our adult offspring join us camping. The reclining theater seat sofa facing forward is my favorite nap spot. As for the heat part, we're outside all day and when it cools down in the evening, it's nice that the warm air rises up to that area. It's usually dark by that time so no view anyway up there. Having the bedroom in the rear of the 5'r allows us to have great sunrise views when we wake up. The KZ has a ton of storage. As much as the non-flv's we looked at. Also with the amount of shoes in the back bedroom, it helps my pin-weight. haha honey! In the end, its a matter of taste and what best fits your lifestyle. Ours works perfect for us.Re: Enclosing outdoor space under front of fifth wheelHere's a nice one I was thinking about. It's nice to keep some stuff out of site which helps to keep it from walking off. Out of site, out of mind of sticky fingers. Prolly less then a "NO PIE" whine. hahaRe: Trailer brake breakaway failure - possible warranty claim?Once saw a guy put full throttle to his boat while anchor was set. Taking that few extra seconds to check proper setup or operation can save $$$$'s or lives. Ask any pilot. To them, its required seconds and not "extra". Premature lack of altitude is not good. Count your blessings and chalk it up as a lesson learned. Making mistakes and living through them helps us either become wise or a lucky idiot. I'm still trying to figure out which I am (or going to be). BTW, I was that guy in the boat.Re: Tracking a phone.... Following a loved ones locationMy wife and I use Life360. It has a lot of functionality including emergency beacon mode, geo-fencing, medical facility locator, etc. We have setup notification points that include the grocery stores near our home. It's nice to know when one of us is there, because we can text them to get ice cream or cookies. :-)Re: Please Help to find Eclipse spot in Oregon - Yes last minuteI'm really not wanting to haul 500 lbs of water 500 miles. autorot8 (or others in the know), do you have any suggestion where to fill up on water near Madras?Re: Please Help to find Eclipse spot in Oregon - Yes last minuteOK, found a place near Madras and the SolarFest. Win-Win! Thank you all for your suggestions/help.Re: Please Help to find Eclipse spot in Oregon - Yes last minuteMan I wish I owned a farm in Oregon. One farm camp has 1000 RV and 2000 Tent camp sites. RV sites are $500 min and Tent sites are $250 min. I would be able to retire and by a bigger RV. :-)Please Help to find Eclipse spot in Oregon - Yes last minuteAny suggestions on where I might find a spot to observe the eclipse in Oregon? I know it's last-minute but I finally caught the bug. Prefer somewhere near Interstate 5, arrive Saturday, leave Wednesday. Thanks in advanceRe: Slideouts come out while autolevel in operation? This happened to me once on my first use of my 5'r. I had just put all 5 sliders in and went to retract the levelers. The sliders started creeping out every time I hit the retract button. The hydraulic pump sounded really weak at the same time. I had run the batteries way down overnight so I hooked up the generator and tried again after 30 minutes. This time the pump sounded stronger and everything worked correctly. I don't know if this makes sense, but it worked for me so I assumed the weak batteries caused the observed issue.
