I'm talking about hooking the chain into the hook and then lifting it into place and inserting the pin. the video instructed to bring the hook assembly down to a point where it is parralel with the ground. I've been swinging it down almost to the end of its arc before hooking the chain onto the hook and lifting it into place. .weight distribution - too tight?I recently watched a youtube video on Reese weight distribution bar set up. In the video they instructed to bring the hook level with the ground and hook to hook up the chain. I was taught to bring the hook down to point much lower than that before hooking up the chain. Consequently, I've been hooking the bars up far too tight. What are the effects of doing this? Is it dangerous?Shurflo 4008 repair kitDue to a subpar job of winterizing (my fault), I had to replace the water pump on my brand new Jayco Jayflight. After I replaced the pump, I examined the old one and found that the upper housing was cracked. So I'm thinking that if I can find a new upper housing, I can repair the punmp and keep it on hand as a spare. Problem is that I can't find any source of repair parts for Shurflo pumps. Anyone have a line on a reliable parts provider?Glied Track drape systemsJust bought a Jayco Jay Flight bunkhouse model. The bunks don't have a curtain so my wife wants to hang curtains using the Glide-Track ceiling mount system carried by Camping World. But I have a couple of questions to ask of anyone who has used this product? First, the ceiling track mounts with screws. I'm a little reluctnat to drill into the ceiling and run screws through. Has anyone tried using 3M tape or adhesive mounting with any success? Also, the bunks she wants to cover are curved at the entry end, is the Glide Tape system flexible enough to bend and mount in a curve? Appreciate any suggestions.
