Thanks again, we think the problem is solved as the result of the wires being pinched. Hopefully that will do it, we'll see.

Thank you for all the info. We are still trying to figure this out. I turned my emergency flashers on to check. They were flashing, then they stopped flashing but the lights were on. Turned the switch off, but the tail lights & brakes lights stay on. I have disconnected the the flasher, multifunction, and brake lt. switches...they are still on.
