We own a TripleE Grand Touring, it's suppose to be good for winter camping. We used it in -10C weather, but I think thats about the limit. I would not go out in colder weather. Some dump stations were frozen solid. Boon docked a few nights at this temp. also. But it's not really comfy without being plugged into a power source. I had to run the generator often. The cold weather showed up by surprise and we did not expect it. Was in october, on the Yellowhead Highway. Also got 12 inches of snow.414Views0likes0CommentsRe: The Okanagan
Stayed 6 years in a row in Oliver at Apple Beach. When the older single lady was running it with her son, it was awesome. She sold it to a British couple and we stopped going there. These people were a disaster. Check the reviews on the internet. I found out that they sold it, so, we might go back in spring for about 3 weeks. it's a good base for exploring the area. You have to remember that some of these place in the Rockies and Alaska Highway are in remote areas. It cost a lot to deliver gasoline to these outlets. Also, some have no power and run their pumps on diesel generators which adds to the cost. Be happy you can buy gas at these places.
